What the heck is the deal with the gas prices?

i live on the border with tn.....normally there gas is a bit cheaper..they get it out of texas while we get ours out of la...it was nice when we had a gas shortage they had plenty....normally the first station you pass as you go into tn are the most expensive...not today....started at a 3.20 and went to 3.26.....i finally got to elizabethon and it was 3.16 now in nc its 3.36 here

Wouldn't be so bad if the damn taxes weren't so high on the gas....Tn,SC are some of the best in the south...

Ahh that explains everything, except not really.
You have issues with a market system? There are others you know.
Funny.

You and that idiot that thanked you probably were among the most vocal when we had gas prices like this under Bush. Guess it's no big deal now huh?

High prices under Bush VERY BAD
High prices under Obama NO BIG DEAL

You're usually smater than this.
Gasoline prices are the results of supply/demand with some local taxes throw in.
The best way to lower prices is only pump a few gallons at a time.
The pain will flow back up the system and the price will drop in a scant few weeks.

I own a gas guzzling SUV...the trade off of a nice comfy BIG vehicle for shit gas prices is OK with me.
