Where are the Ideas and Policies from the USMB Republicans?

So I'm looking at the USMB threads and once again, there are endless threads about Obama being a socialist or not an American. Every story more outrageous than the one before it.

And nowhere are there any threads about what Republicans think they could do to "help" this country. To create jobs. To improve our infrastructure. Is there anything they don't want to tear down?

They put them right there with yours, did you miss them?

Until you mentioned it I don't recall anyone on the right saying anything about Warrior, Rabbi, Matthew, ShootSpeeders or a dozen or more outrageous posters. Of course I doubt their scared of them, they likely agree with them.
is that like how you and the lefties in this thread feel about Dean?......i get told by "Lefties" here i am wrong and they dont agree with the shit he throws out there......yet i have never seen those same ones ever disagree with the guy...no matter what he says.....i have seen quit a few Moderate righties here tell Shootspeeders what an ass he is......i have seen quit a few righties here tell Matthew he is a bigot......do you agree with all the shit Dean says about Republicans Wry?.....

Lots of far right people criticize SS and other as well.

Take me for example. I think the lefties around here would call me far right. I will call out anyone I think is wrong. Ive been doing that for years.

I would have to agree that ive never seen a lefty call out rdean. Maybe ive missed it, but I cannot think of one off the top of my head.
and im sure many lefties here like Dean think i am a "righty" too....but ask Rottweiler and Rabbi how this "Righty" got into it with them about Pot....you do notice how Sallow never answered what i said about he and Dean.....RW totally changed the subject....Wry did not answer what i asked him about Dean.....they act like he is going to reach through the screen and slap the shit out of them if they say he is an ass....

With a little government organization, electrical facilities could be moved to low cost natural gas

Built on the completely absurd premise that government is the all knowing, almighty, pure, flawless entity of perfection.

The government itself is so insanely unorganized that it is tragically comical. You want "a little government organization"? Why don't you check this out first and then we will have a real conversation:

It is one of the oddest spending habits in Washington: This year, the government will spend at least $890,000 on service fees for bank accounts that are empty. At last count, Uncle Sam has 13,712 such accounts with a balance of zero. They are supposed to be closed. But nobody has done the paperwork yet.

Feds spend at least $890,000 on fees for empty accounts - The Washington Post

That's right RDean - the federal government is so incompetent they pay fees on empty bank accounts with MY money because they are too disorganized to close the accounts.

But wait - there's more! Here's yet another gem:

The IRS sent more than $46 million in tax refunds to 23,994 “unauthorized” alien workers who all listed the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011

That's federal INCOME TAXES, hater dupes. And it's pure BS propaganda. Hell, federal PAYROLL taxes are now more than those, and the non rich pay most of those. Not to mention all the higher local, state taxes and fees that have risen to make up for the lower federal taxes under whacko voodoo- that's why the rich pay less %wise than the middle class. And you MORON Pub dupes just keep parroting the Pubcrappe. Change the fecking channel and do some research. We Dems don't have a giant propaganda machine, just the truth.

Frankie?.....you want a cracker?....

You're a turd and you've always been a turd. You have no character. No ideas. Nothing of substance. Just a shitstain on the sidewalk of life looking to drag someone down.

did you say this while you were looking in the mirror Dean?.....

That's because liberals will align themselves with anything and anyone - no matter how despicable - to push their agenda. They really buy into the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" concept.

Conservatives on the other hand stand firmly in their principle. You believe in the "freedom" of narcotics (sorry, I just find that so absurd that I have to put that in quotes). I believe that freedom does not equal a lawless society of bandits and I know the heinous crimes drug-addiction causes. We will literally come to blows long before I ever accept narcotics to gain favor with you or you ever accept the restriction on your "freedom" to gain favor with me.

It's one of the fundamental differences between the right and the left

I'm old school conservative Republican. And so to meet the OP challenge, here are topics I have started which suggest solutions to the real problems facing America:

http://www.usmessageboard.com/politics/272632-a-crazy-idea-that-just-might-work.html

http://www.usmessageboard.com/politics/267252-the-way-forward-raise-the-retirement-age.html

http://www.usmessageboard.com/econo...ic-prosperity-and-better-cable-reception.html

http://www.usmessageboard.com/politics/263551-the-way-forward-end-tax-expenditures.html

I also started a topic asking for people to propose alternatives to ObamaCare. After twenty minutes of nothing, I made my own proposals, which I have advocated in various forms multiple times throughout this forum: http://www.usmessageboard.com/polit...n-post7581788.html?highlight=auto#post7581788

(sigh)

So I went through these one at a time.

The "gun" thing? I don't get it.

Make the elderly work longer. Good luck on a 70 year old emergency worker trying to cart Chrispie down a flight of stairs or 70 year old police or firemen chasing down a criminal or putting out a fire. Sorry, I really don't get that either.

Then there is the 5 point plan. Make the elderly work longer, send people to prison, let businesses fail, taxes.

And more about "taxes".

And that's it.

Pretty pathetic when you put it like that.

High Taxes? Actually, They're at a 60-Year Low - CBS News

Tax bills in 2009 at lowest level since 1950 - USATODAY.com

10 Graphs That Prove The United States Is A Low-Tax Country

If tax cuts were so wonderful and great for the country, why didn't the record breaking Bush tax cuts do any good? Republicans used reconciliation TWICE to ram them through congress. Then Republicans will say, "But they did do a lot of good, they....." and then say something totally made up. If they did anything good for someone, it was help fund the move of jobs to China.

Then Republicans will say, "But Obama extended them". Yes he did. And why did he do that?

Unemployment benefits: not until Bush tax cuts pass, Senate GOP says - CSMonitor.com

So we pretty much just put to bed this GOP fixation on taxes.

What about all that money corporations have overseas? Republicans say, "Have a tax holiday" to bring it back. At the end of Bush's first term, we did exactly that for exactly the same reason. Did it create jobs? No. Corporations bought back stock, paid out dividends and moved more jobs to China.

Now let me show you what an "idea" is. Not a scam. Not a tax scheme. A real honest to goodness idea.

Plans to replace 500,000 workers with 1 million robots - CSMonitor.com

1 Million Robots To Replace 1 Million Human Jobs At Foxconn. First Robots Have Arrived

Get it? China is building a million robots to replace people making $172 a month. And look at what we could do. We have so much natural gas, companies are burning it off because they have run out of space to store it. With a little government organization, electrical facilities could be moved to low cost natural gas. Robots could be anywhere. We have more energy than China and for a million robots, once made, there's your cost.

And we have 3.8 million jobs unfilled because of people without skills. Skills like precision machining, like the kind used for making robots. Course, if you have a million robots, you need technicians, engineers, programmers, maintenance, and all the people that support them.

And what else do you need? Good infrastructure and I just outlined why.

And you wonder why I'm angry at Republicans????? Because it elects stupid people based on race and can't think beyond "taxes". Bunch of fucking idiots.

See? What I did was give only a single idea. Just one. Not weird tax schemes. Not moving the burden to the elderly.

See that? I took apart those tax schemes one at a time. They've already been tried by three presidents and failed miserably each time. The last one was worst of all. And look at my links. No one even came close to backing up their ideas like I did.

But their screaming is so "shrill".

This is the problem with these GOP tax schemes. They've been tried and look at what they did.

My plan

1. Lower corporate tax
2. Cut red tape that hurts business development for the poor and middle class
3. Develop craftsmen schools for plumbing, electrical, carpetarty for the people that aren't capable of a college degree.
4. Work with corporations to get internships...Maybe even allow for tax reduction based on it.
5. Reward innovation with tax reductions
6. ALLOW monies for important science institutions from nws, nhc, noaa and nasa. This allows for children to work hard to get into real opunity. These people also play a roll of warning us of extreme weather and space events...
7. Reform welfare to keep abled bodied people off of disability
8. cut unemployment down to 24 weeks...This is where 4# kicks in.

Maybe 9. work on competition throughout health care and our colleges to drive down cost.

What should occur is you want competition and organizions fighting for your business(money). So they're going to want to charge a lower price to you to get it.

There are things here that I feel simply aren't "thought out".

The tax thing again.

What "red tape"? Give examples. Real ones.

3. Good

4. More tax deductions?

5. And more tax deductions. Let me explain something, most corporations grow, not through research or innovation, but through acquisition. R&D is expensive and risky. Many times, corporations leave that to the government.

6. Not sure what you are saying.

7. Welfare reform under Bill Clinton requires people who get welfare to work.

8. Cut unemployment for people whose jobs have been moved to China? Seems kind of cruel. And what company wants a 50 year old "intern"?

There's not much there that involves "growth". You might consider spending a little time "reviewing" your talking points.

And look at my links. No one even came close to backing up their ideas like I did.

I've backed up everything I've said with links. And you've run like a disingenuous coward from each one...

This is typical of conservative ‘solutions,’ nonsensical blurbs and empty phrases with no context, no details, and no meaning.

Lower corporate tax

AKA, trickle-down economics – the failed conservative policy that succeeds in only increasing corporate profits while also increasing unemployment and the deficit.

Cut red tape that hurts business development for the poor and middle class

What constitutes ‘red tape’? And where are the ‘poor and middle class’ supposed to find the capital to start a business?

Develop craftsmen schools for plumbing, electrical, carpetarty for the people that aren't capable of a college degree.

And how does one determine if someone isn’t ‘capable of a college degree’? Obviously conservative elitism is alive and well, seeking to establish a society based on a class structure.

Work with corporations to get internships...Maybe even allow for tax reduction based on it.

Who will ‘work with corporations to get 'internships’? What does this even mean? And more tax reduction on top of tax reduction on top of corporate welfare, this isn’t a ‘solution’ to anything, it’s capitulation to the corporate elite.

Reward innovation with tax reductions

What constitutes ‘innovation’? Tax reductions for whom? Corporations, again?

ALLOW monies for important science institutions from nws, nhc, noaa and nasa. This allows for children to work hard to get into real opunity. These people also play a roll of warning us of extreme weather and space events.

What ‘monies’? There’s no money for any of this as a consequence of your irresponsible tax cuts.

Reform welfare to keep abled bodied people off of disability

This doesn’t make any sense, public assistance and disability are two completely different things, there’s nothing to ‘reform.’ If one is able-bodied he’s not eligible for disability.

Maybe 9. work on competition throughout health care and our colleges to drive down cost.

But only for those who can still afford healthcare and college. Whatever the cost of either as a result of ‘competition,’ there will still be a significant percent of the population that can afford neither.

There’s nothing ‘new’ here, just the same failed, meaningless conservative dogma of ‘tax cuts’ and ‘competition.’

Everything they've come up with since is just a variation of the supply side pyramid scheme. But democrats share some of the blame. We need stop engaging the Grand Old Dead Party. It's obvious that they have nothing to say. Why should we continue to pretend that they do? They are far past the point of credibility and should no longer be given the benefit of any kind of doubt. Your chart is total bullshit. It's a piece of propaganda. First off, it's based on Congressional Budget Office "estimates." Those are bullshit from the get-go. Then the authors used all kinds of bogus assumptions to compose it. Nothing published by left-wing think tanks can be believed.
