Yif'at Lerner - Redemption Every Hour

When it felt I was about to fall
Lost between holiness and mundane
With the heavens covering with clouds
Didn't find the face within me

Wake and rejoice in simplicity
Agree to forget, relax from a mistake
And You always know to embrace me
Especially when I'm prone to usually fight

You'd say in Your waving voice
Again repeat saying so that it seeps
For everything there will come a healing
Redemption every hour

An Israeli flag football team forfeited a game on Shabbat. It won the European championship anyway.

(JTA) — Israel’s under-17 men’s flag football team won its first-ever gold medal at the 2023 International Federation of American Football’s European Junior Flag Football Championships hosted in Grosseto, Italy, this past weekend.

The Israeli team beat Serbia 34-14 in the championship game after defeating Italy in a close semifinal. Israel’s under-17 women’s team and under-15 coed team both finished fifth in their respective competitions.

“Our first gold after decades of trying,” Steve Leibowitz, president of American Football in Israel (AFI), told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “Tough young Israeli players against the best young players in Europe. The moment the whistle blew… I knew we had finally arrived. Next thought, first we conquer Europe, the Worlds are next.”

Despite appeals from the Israeli players — a majority of whom are Orthodox, according to Leibowitz — Israel was scheduled to play games on Shabbat. All three teams had to forfeit, resulting in 35-0 losses.

The spy thriller released on August 11, is in the top spot in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

Several of those countries have in the past banned the Israeli star’s films, including blockbuster “Wonder Woman,” in which she played the lead role.

According to the streaming service, the film has so far racked up 69,600,000 hours of viewing time.

In the film, Gadot plays Rachel Stone, a highly trained intelligence agent who is also a member of an even more secret international organization with no political or national allegiances, called The Charter, that works to preserve world peace.

However, when villain Keya Dhawan (Bollywood A-lister Bhatt) steals the “heart” of the Charter, which is the source of its all its awesome technological power, Stone set off on a globe-trotting, heart-stopping, stunt-filled adventure to get it back.

Temple Mount Update | 3 types of Shofar - 3 reasons to ascend the Temple Mount

Rabbi Kook compared the three types of Shofars to three possibilities of redemption • A ram's shofar, the other kosher shofars, a shofar from an unclean animal • Redemption in sanctity, redemption out of a historical, cultural affinity and redemption out of fleeing the terror of the Gentiles • Ascending the Temple Mount also has three purposes • Ascending in holiness to return to God, strengthening sovereignty or war against the enemy • Everything is important, but it is worth going up the chosen path • Tzipora Filz • In honor of her birthday • Beit Midrash on the Temple Mount

A few days ago, 5 palestinians Arabs were killed after an explosive device they attempted to detonate on the Israeli border during a riot blew up prematurely. Another case of premature explodation, if you will.

The palestinian Arabs, of course, claim it was Israel who planted the explosive,
but we have proof it was their own.

But back to the palestinian Arab “witness” in the video. He claims “one of the youths decided to check [the suspicious black object] with a stick.”
