How did Trump win? I'm not doubting the polls, but he never answered any questions. I felt the best were Rubio, Paul, Carson and Cruz. Huckabee and Kasich did good, but Trump, Bush and Christie were unimpressive.

Trump answered a lot of hard questions successfully.
But he's not a true Republican and that could hurt him.

Honestly, I didn't hear all of his answers because I was so shocked by the question, then Kelly tried to interrupt his answer.

Multiple winners imo. Trump did ok under the circumstances, Cruz did great, as did walker, Christie helped himself, and so did Carson.

Agree on Trump and Carson. Cruz came across as fake and scripted to me, and what a hoity toity speaking style nobody speaks like that. Christie was boring the "I'm a tough guy from Jersey" is worn out.

Christies big win issue was also his big loser issue, Social Security. Screwing people out of SS benefits they were FORCED to pay for after government stole the freaking money will be as popular as total body poison oak. Glad to see a candidate call out the corrupt as government assholes but his solution is a loser.

I looked at the Facebook comments on the Debate and 99.9% of the comments were anti Fox.

Then I watched the Luntz segment and they thought Trump crashed. They are giving answers they think Fox wanted, I think. Never will watch the station again. Too biased.

Bottom line- We have a bumper crop of qualified, intelligent, thoughtful candidates in the GOP.

I'm not touting Trump, but he does do one thing well. He lets other candidates know that the traditional PC will not work for main stream citizens any longer. People like that and they agree with him on immigration.

Should he be president, no. But whoever does make the nomination would do himself a favor and listen to some of the things he says about making deals with other countries and economics.

I'm getting to be a Kasich supporter, but I don't think he'll make the cut for further debates.
