The article itself states some pretty serious issues with that conclusion. The mummies being from one site is one major issue. They do note that as you went south you probably saw more mixing with the Nubian cultures. The mixing of the two cultures was considerable and at times almost indistinguishable, diverging at times as dynasties rose and fell. From everything I've read it would appear that ancient Egyptians were probably of mixed lineage, much more than previously thought. The problem conservatives have with BLM is that they aren't really concerned with black lives, only the small number killed by police. In addition BLM links all deaths at the hands of police as just wanton violence. There have certainly been outrageous shootings, the one in Chicago where the kid was just walking by and was shot 16 times is an obvious case. Ferguson not so much or the man everyone said was choked to death in NY who actually had a heart attack fighting 6 cops is another.

I agree with many others including a number of black folks that say if you're really concerned with black lives, you should be marching in Chicago.
