Why attack Syria ? Money--what else ?

All set!:D

How would we know what a missile hit? The only way we know anything is when this criminal regime tells us. The government lies, constantly and about everything. They could say they hit a weapons site and they hit an orphanage.

The answer is simple: China, Russia, the U.S. it's lackeys are fighting over Eurasia. Can't get there without the big prize Iran. Bombing the shit out of Syria and supporting terrorists to achieve that goal is much easier than going straight at Iran. That's all it is.

The road to Tehran runs through Damascus.

BTW, Iran and Syria have a mutual defense pact signed in 2005. Therefore, bombing the stuffing out of SYRIA will be easy, but the ensuing consequences will lead to going straight at Iran, which will be much, much harder.

Why is Iran going to be harder?

WHATEVER we hit, the Syrians will certainly say we hit an orphanage --- count on it.

Unlikely, though -- all the orphans are fleeing into Turkey.

Dead pigeons from the gassing site in Syria, supposedly. Photo leading Reuters now 8/26.

Okay, good enough, I'm persuaded the gas did happen, whoever shot it off.

Doubt it. Syria is on the list. Has nothing to do with Assad.
That would be the list Wesley told us about in 2003 when his book was about to hit the stores:

"In Clark's book, Winning Modern Wars, published in 2003, he describes his conversation with a military officer in the Pentagon shortly after 9/11 regarding a plan to attack seven Middle Eastern countries in five years: 'As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.'" [147]

:lol:and he looks like to the ass he is. He got 1 out of 7 and the 1 when it was obvious we had issues with saddam....brilliant:rolleyes:

is there a statute of limitation on what he heard ?

You're right, there is no limit to his lies.

Money---the best reason of all.

Because they were in on a plot to get rid of the USD PETRODOLLRS?

As was Momar Khodaffi, and Saddam Hussein, as I recall.

No nation, no president who threatens the BANKSTERS is going to get away with it.
Iran is currently offering its oil in exchange for gold.
What happens to the US dollar's status as a global reserve currency if enough of the developed world starts buying and selling oil independently of the Federal Reserve?

I agree with dilloduck. It is all about money. I think US will bear all the grunt. Israel will get all the blame (Arabs will think Israel manipulated this). Europeans will reap all the benefits.

That an officer would spill the "secret plan" to Wesley the Weasel, during a chat in the Pentagon.

Sounds like one of Biden's made-up stories.

Or one of Yellow Dick Cheney's war stories?

It's about securing Eurasia from Russia, China and their proxies. Whoever controls Eurasia gets to play superpower for the next 7 decades. In order to do that, Iran must be disemboweled, and the best way to do that is via Syria. So yes, it's about money and Empire. They go hand in hand.

The dollar drops and America drops with it. We are aiming right at Tehran. Syria first and we don't give a damn who takes over there. Whoever it is will be kept in check by Turkey and Israel.

Except Iraq wasn't obvious to the vast majority of Americans in November 2001.
Afghanistan was, remember?
Seven sovereign states didn't fall to US terrorism in five years, but the remaining four are under severe attack from the US and its settler-colonialist ally Israel.

 oh so now we have to include Israel to make his BS work....George, please huh:eusa_hand:...

Why else were 650,000 Jews allowed to inflict their nation upon twice as many Arab Palestinians in 1948, Trajan?

Israel Poised to Attack Syria?

"Israel's a serial aggressor. It's history is bloodstained. It prioritizes disproportionate force. It targets civilians like combatants..."

"Since hostilities began in March 2011, Israel launched several cross-border ground attacks. It made one or more incursions. It conducted four air attacks. It likely plans more.

"Doing so reflects lawless aggression. They're Israeli and US specialties. They suggest more coming.

"Some observers believe Israel will attack Hezbollah and Syria. Doing so may coincide with Washington's intervention. Iran may follow.

"Longstanding plans prioritize regime change. Israel's Greater Middle East Agenda matters most. It wants regional rivals removed. It seeks territorial expansion. It wants unchallenged dominance. Washington wants it globally."

Are you naive enough to believe Israel wants Peace as much as Goldman Sachs does?
