He brings out the worst in people, on both "sides".

I have a religious 60+ year old friend, wife has been on disability for 30 years, yet he hates 'socialism.'
He is on food stamps, can't hold a job, yet he hates 'socialism'
He accepts free stuff from the members of his church, yet he hates 'socialism'
He has zero retirement, except his wife's disability and some Social Security when he did work.

They hate the people who voted for Trump, average mainstream middle class Americans who work hard, pay their taxes, teach their children to stay out of trouble and to finish school, people who just want to live in a decent culture with good schools, low taxes, low crime rate......
Liberals do not have any real principles.
They voted for a racist like Biden, and a rapist like Clinton.
They break all of their own rules about hate, racism, prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination all of the time.
