when I was working I have TS and SAP clearances, when I retired they were cancelled because I no longer had any need to see classified data. Same applies to the ex-Obama employees in the OP.

Then why are they only going after those 5 people? Why is Trump not calling for stripping every member of the military of their clearance the day they sign their discharge/retirement papers?

security clearances expire after a set period of time if not renewed. These 5 people have been proven to be in violation of the clearance rules and regulations and should have their clearances pulled. Discussing classified matters with the media is a clear violation, even acknowledging the existence of SAP programs is a violation.

When Hillary left the State Department she was 'read-out' of several TS+ programs, and she signed a govt document acknowledging she would not have any information on these programs and shw would not talk about it.

The FBI acknowledged they found classified information related to those programs on her server. She did not have LEGAL authority and access to that information yet she still had it in her possession, on her server.

Hillary compromised national security. The US IG reported 6 foreign entities ended up with the TS+ data that was on her illegal unauthorized, unencrypted, unsecured (all illegal) server.

nope, you are wrong. there is no "need to know" provision when both have the proper clearances to see and hold the data. A violation occurs when classified data is transferred to someone who does not hold the proper clearance, as when Hillary allowed classified data to be sent to Huma and Weiner.
