The case is being jointly investigated by San Francisco police, the FBI, U.S. Capitol Police and federal and local prosecutors. When federal authorities are involved, all instances of the subject's social media are usually taken down within an hour, sometimes within minutes.

Why is this not the case with Depape's website?

It reminds me of the book (not the movie), Starship Troopers. In one scene, the hero is about to be dropped onto a hostile planet in a pod, where - if he survives the drop - he will be expected to fight thousands of giant bugs. But he is not afraid - he is unable to be afraid due to drugs supplied by his unit. It made him a far better fighter, since fear and panic could not affect his motivation or decision making.
