America is in decay because those who have a vested professional interest in manipulating Americans are winning.

Their business model is to politicize everything and keep us as divided as possible. Everyone screaming, no one listening. What is best for America is exactly the opposite.

I see it more like a corporate smash and grab, facilitated by Republicans, who are aiding and abetting a wealthy cabal of billionaires and other corporate titans who want to make as much as possible before the country collapses on itself.

When 1% of Americans control 32% of the wealth, that is not good for America. We are devolving into something resembling Russia.
