The number one reason: Supreme Court Justice appointments. Republican appointed Justices have bought us Citizens United. That's basically had the effect of selling off our government to the highest bidder. Unhappy with your candidate? You can thank unlimited pac money. Bought to you by you Republican appointed justices.

Oh yeah.... What really ticks Libs off about Citizens United is that labor unions can no longer donate huge amounts to Liberals without corporations being able to support their interests as well.

Leftards are screwed up because according to their view it is unfair to be fair. They believe it is their disadvantage when the playing field is leveled.

lol...

Oh yeah.... What really ticks Libs off about Citizens United is that labor unions can no longer donate huge amounts to Liberals without corporations being able to support their interests as well.

I love how conservatives will equate a 'labor union' with a 'corporation', as if they're the exact same thing.

As if a 'corporation' is just a right wing version of a specific entity and a 'labor union' is a left wing version that same entity.

In a way, it is exactly that: the 'conservative' corporation is about protecting the interests of the rich few, and the 'liberal' union is about protecting the many, the working class, the people with actual needs.

That's exactly what is wrong with the Republican Party. The fact that they continue to use the name of the party that Lincoln and TR were members of is insanity. Quit piggy-backing off their (very left of center) successes with this "Party of Lincoln" crap, and call yourselves what you truly are:

The For-Profit Party of America.

You guys are a joke.

Have you heard the term hypocrisy?

The unholy alliance between Democrat politicians and public employee unions would be a good solid RICO case in the private sector. Dem politicians who are supposed to be representing the taxpayers in dealings with public employee unions instead cut kickback deals with them. Dem politicians raise taxes, give the money to the public employee unions, they kick back part of the money to the Dem politicians for their campaigns. That's a HUGE conflict of interest and betrayal of taxpayers.

And this clown OP has the gall to whine about citizen's united?

Citizens United means we will never again have an open, honest election.

Sheldon Adelson will buy the R candidate and then the RW sheeples will obediently vote for him.

As to the OP, a Repub president would mean the loss of all the progress President Obama has made. All the jobs would be lost, the stock market would tank, all economic recovery would be gone and we would immediately be in several ground wars.

Simply put, we cannot afford another R prez.

Neither can the world financial systems.

A labor union is a group of people that share a common purpose, usually getting more money out of a corporation. A corporation is a group of people who invest money with the hope of turning a profit.
Fundamentally they are the same but have conflicting goals. Why is it OK to spend money to support politicians who will support money going from point a to point b but not from point c to point a?

-S- I haven't seen your posts before. Welcome to the board.

And they're very ignorant about the actual power of unions, as well as the impact on the working class. Its a shame really because its their children and grand children who will pay an enormous price for the radical RW's obedience to the foreign interests that control them.

What irony that they hate Muslims but are ruled by one.

I haven't heard anyone say they were the same. Maybe the simple resides between your ears? In fact, to further the point, Democrats are exactly strangers to corporate money, that includes big banking, multi-nationals, etc. Many unions have run business offshore while lining their fat socialist wallets. Their number one concern these days is the union, power and electing Democrats into office for their symbiotic financial relationship.

For profit America sounds good to me. I rather pick and choose who I do business with than the 'for government America' liberals bow down on prayer rugs and worship.
