Joe is using EO's to dole out money from the taxpayers. He is not powerless now. And progs use any reduction in planned increases of programs dear to their hearts as a weapon against Republicans. Just one agenda is we all know something must be done about Social Security and Progs have weaponized it for their advantage.
Sure and this relates to my post - how?

Neither has McConnell, has he? Not arguing with you. Shutting down the govt is an adolescent gop trick

And the Democrat's fearmongering over the government shutdown is a Stalinist trick to blame the GOP. We go through this every year: The same bullshit from the Democrats claiming how Republicans want to "shut down muh gummint", even though they're primarily the ones responsible for the biggest spending.

Dude, they had all govt for two years, and blew up the deficits with tax cuts and new spending that was not paid for.

You're obviously not even looking at the figures. During the second year of Trump's presidency, he actually ran a lower deficit than the first term of Obama. It wasn't until the pandemic hit that he ran up a large debt, which was pretty much a necessity for an event like that.

But if you don't like the COVID stimulus checks you got in the mail, you're free to mail them back to the Treasury Department. Not to mention all those business that didn't go away, thanks to PPP and other forms of rescue funding Trump passed.

Did you actually say that?

Can you Cherry Pick any more?

Obama took over in the largest recession in 80 years
Trump took over the strong Obama economy that had been rising for seven years

Why would Trump run a deficit at all?

Actually, he's full of shit. Deficts declined in Six of Obama's final SEVEN years. They increased in EACH of Trump's FOUR years.

Only because Obumma starved vital programs to push his agenda elsewhere for democrats so that when Trump came in, he needed to spend tons of money to get things back on its feet like our military which is still starved for money with many planes and things inoperable for lack of parts to fix them.
