Yeah, conservatives are probably right. We don't need an infrastructure bill...

Then both ran to microphones and lied, lied, and lied. The fact is they wanted a bill full of pork like the Biden bill is, and Trump wanted to rein in the pork.

The undynamic duo of Pelosi and Schumer don't give a shit, they're liars of the first rank.
You just make it up as you go along, don't you?

Show the proof.

And the internet answers.......you guys must really hate the internet....which is why you want to censor it and control it......

One problem: The bridge has already been to that infrastructure well earlier.

Here's a rather amazing tweet thread from a Pittsburgh local:

The bridge that just collapsed in the city of Pittsburgh was set to be restored in 2016. Instead of replacing the completely rusted out supports, they diverted the money to bike lanes, green energy programs and lanes for self driving cars.
-----

Instead of repairing the bridge with what likely would have been the Obama-era shovel-ready 2009 infrastructure funds for "roads and bridges," known as the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act," the cash went to bike lanes and green boondoggles, and too bad about the actual structure that was decaying and deteriorating. Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg loves those bike lanes. Bridges that stay up? That is for someone else to take care of. And of course, no one did. For local leftwing politicians and federal cash shovelers, it was too attractive to build bike lanes and dedicated lanes, the better for Democrats to show off to all their little lefty friends.

Virtually every infrastructure bill has been like this. The Americans for Prosperity website has a history of these continuous infrastructure bills, all of which left a lot of decaying infrastructure and a lot of greenie gee-whiz idiocies:

  • In 1998, President Clinton and Congress worked together on a $217 billion transportation bill.
  • Who can forget President George W. Bush’s 2005 bill that included funding for the infamous Bridge to Nowhere.
  • President Obama’s 2009 “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act” had an $831 billion price tag.
  • The Trump Administration proposed or endorsed several costly infrastructure plans between 2015-2020.
  • If President Biden’s recent proposal gives you déjà vu, you’re not alone. His promises sound familiar to us, too.

We know that in California, legislators and executives enjoy lying about spending for infrastructure investment, too.

Remember when they hoodwinked voters into approving a gas tax for infrastructure in 2019? Yep, same story, they didnt bother with infrastructure such as roads and bridges. They set up greenie playthings instead and wasted the cash even as gas prices skyrocketed with all those added state taxes.

Why hasn't the city of Pittsburgh, or the state of Pennsylvania already rebuilt that bridge with money from Obama's stimulus package?

That's an easy one.....corrupt, stupid, leftist politicians spent the money on everything else.........and it doesn't take too much thinking to know that they diverted the money to cronies for projects that provided kick backs to the politicians.......

...

Oopsies!

Oopsies?

What part of politicians in general stealing and wasting money is getting past you leftist idiots?

These politicians took money we gave them to fix these problems....both sides........and stole it, wasted it, misplaced it, gave it to their cronies and got kick backs...

And you idiots want to give them even more money on the premise that this time.....they won't steal it, waste it, misplace it, or give to their cronies and actually fix stuff...

That is the reason we know you are idiots and morons....

It would have happened without the Fed getting involved. I’m not sure why you think it wouldn’t have.
It is a religious issue for him. He WORSHIPS government-with religious fervor-and believes that THE STATE should do everything.

Most major cities are run by Democrats
Appalachia and Mississippi are run by Republicans
The difference is most cities have always been run by democrats Mississippi and Appalachia just recently turned Republican, it takes decades to clean up a Democrat mess

It wasn't infrastructure when we purchased it, it was foreign territory. You just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper.

So you won't provide the information to your troll masters? Are you not proud of your work?
I wonder if he's a bot...

Let's be honest, if you said you passed 5th grade, I wouldn't believe you.
I asked you a question regarding doling out the funds for a publicly funded project?
Do you how it's done?
I do.

Envelopes of cash are discreetly brought to the ones voting. They then split the funds between businesses owned by the ones paying them off, their own relatives, and various coatholders.

They only build bridges to nowhere in red states like Alaska.

Then they send a stupid woman for more money and you buy it.
The biggest shitshow projects in the country (one at least 1000% over-budget and 20 years behind) are in ultra-blue Massachusetts and Kalifornia.
