Difference between movies and reality......

You mean like all the German-American soldiers that filled United States uniforms during WWI and WWII who weren't acknowledged by the United States even though over 50% of this country was German-American by heritage at that time?

Instead the United States went out of it's way to make laws in attempts to erase said heritage from those very same people.

Is that real enough?
