Your thoughts on Trump's insults of prosecutors and judges

I'm putting this in Politics because there is a clear political component here.

I think it's clear that there is simply no one who behaves like Trump, so comparisons are worthless. He attacks and insults and name-calls various people virtually every day in a way that no American public figure has. Ever. And again today, he attacked and insulted Fani Willis and Judge Engoron -- officials who are playing a significant role in his future -- as he was about to go into court.

With this in mind, why do you suppose he does this? Does he do it for political advantage? To influence the jury pool? Is he trying to intimidate? Is it because he can't help himself?

I realize I'll get the regular insults and name-calling and screams of TDS from people who want to avoid the question, and that's fine. I'd just like to see what you think this behavior indicates.

Yeah, you don't support candidates who just insult people, you support Biden ...

:eusa_liar:

It is a tactic Trump has used many times before

Attack, insult and intimidate the Judge and then demand they recuse themselves because they are biased against you
He regularly behaves in a way that we would scold our children for, and his followers like it. Inexplicable.

I think it's all he knows. He can't communicate and reason with people like a normal adult, so he just attacks.

That explains Trump. So where does Biden get being such a dick?

He does it because he is a bully.

Once again not true.
MANY - MANY conservatives have complained about his mouth. Complained about his friggin Tweets.
Complained about insisting on getting into arguments with idiots.
I, along with many conservatives, have said all along he can be his own worse enemy. He provides fodder for the haters on a daily basis.

Been there, done that

Until Donald Trump's comments about the ethnicity of Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the judge overseeing the fraud case against Trump University in San Diego, Curiel was anything but a household name.

Then Trump began calling Curiel a "hater" who was being unfair to him because the judge is "Hispanic," because he is "Mexican" and because Trump is building a wall.

I agree, but he's no worse than Biden or any other Democrat and they are not held accountable

I read somewhere that he said that his father taught him to be very aggressive.

Of course, I do not know whether this is true.

But -- on the surface -- it does seem that he was a spoiled brat in a rich family.

He seems to be irrepressible.

I actually feel sorry for him.

And I hate how the powers-that-be are determined to break him. After all, the powers-that-be are not exactly angelic models themselves.

He does it because his followers like it, anything to get more worship (and money) out of them.

I think it's all he knows. He can't communicate and reason with people like a normal adult, so he just attacks.

You may have a point, his speaks on a 3rd or 4th grade level, so communicating with adults has to be hard for him

Trump is using remarkable restraint in publicly calling out the officials for how they are trying to use their office to railroad him to keep him from stomping Biden's ass out of office next year in effect the government now being in the business of picking its own election winners a la banana republic just as they have picked business winners and losers for years, but frankly, I think his insults would be better used against dogheave partisan hypocritical lying leftwing jackals like you.

You are in the minority, just read these forums.

Keep in mind, all the Biden supporters here, including Mac1958, have no problem with this:

Progs threaten judges and make the path appointing of a so called Republican one a visit through hell. Low level Prog Socialist judges have overturned people voting on issues even.
I don't know anyone who thinks they can bully judges.

There is no "Powers that be" here.

There are his actions which broke the law.
He broke the law in NY with inflating or not inflating a property's worth in order to get loans. It is Fraud.

He exaggerated, lied about the size of his properties in order to get a loan or to sell them. It is Fraud.

There are laws against Fraud everywhere in the US.

These laws finally caught up with Trump and his family.

Trump University = Fraud
Trump Charity = Fraud
Trump Organization = Fraud

There are laws against Fraud and the Trumps pushed them to the limit and beyond. Today, it is the consequences of decades of defrauding.
