What a silly thread. The period known as Russia-Ukraine war started in 2014. In the early 2015 Ukraine declared Russia as an 'aggressor country'.

The ones who denied this terminology were Russian government that constantly claimed about their non-involvement.

Wiki articles about 'Russia-Ukraine war' start with the Crimean annexation. And now this thread is supposed to be some sort of revelation?

What a clown.

I guess it is just about Trump´s statement. That the war was ongoing (not starting) during Trump´s term. That he could have done more or something.

Huh, so I guess the war didn’t start with Russia’s invasion in 2022.

It seems it actually started in 2014 with the Euromaiden insurrection.

This is what I have been saying all along.

I’m shocked Zelensky admitted it. Usually he just lies.
Seems that Zelensky isn't smart enough to not point his gun at his own foot!

Could it ever sink into his fat little head that what he knows as the facts, are not for public consumption?

Incredibly stupid!

Biden's half of the American people should be saying, 'Whhhhaaatttttt'?

sorry
but I do not give a fuck about the ukraine
they are a poor backwards corrupt country who the Dirty Kleptocrats use to launder their bribe money

No, it started in 2014 with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. This event took place in the relative power vacuum[32] on the immediate aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity and was the beginning act of the wider Russo-Ukrainian War.

The events in Kyiv that ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych on 22 February 2014 sparked pro-Russian demonstrations as of 23 February against the incoming new Ukrainian government. At the same time Russian president Vladimir Putin discussed Ukrainian events with security service chiefs remarking that "we must start working on returning Crimea to Russia". On 27 February, Russian troops[33] captured strategic sites across Crimea,[34][35] followed by the installation of the pro-Russian Aksyonov government in Crimea, the Crimean status referendum, and the declaration of Crimea's independence on 16 March 2014.[36][37] Although Russia initially claimed their military was not involved in the events,[38] Putin later admitted that troops were deployed to "stand behind Crimea's self-defence forces".[39] Russia formally incorporated Crimea on 18 March 2014.[40][39]

and

The war in Donbas,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Donbas_(2014–2022)#cite_note-21 or Donbas war, was an armed conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine, part of the broader Russo-Ukrainian War. The war began in April 2014 when armed Russian-backed separatists seized government buildings and the Ukrainian military launched an operation against them. It continued until it was subsumed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.[20][21]

In March 2014, following Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity, anti-revolution and pro-Russian protests began in Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, collectively 'the Donbas'. These began as Russia invaded and annexed Crimea. Armed Russian-backed separatists seized Ukrainian government buildings and declared the Donetsk and Luhansk republics (DPR and LPR) as independent states, leading to conflict with Ukrainian government forces.[22] Russia covertly supported the separatists with troops and weaponry. It only admitted sending "military specialists",[23][24] but later acknowledged the separatists as Russian combat veterans.[25] In April 2014, Ukraine launched a counter-offensive, called the "Anti-Terrorist Operation"[26] (ATO), later renamed the "Joint Forces Operation" (JFO).[27][28] By late August 2014, Ukraine had re-taken most separatist-held territory and nearly regained control of the Russia–Ukraine border.[29] In response, Russia covertly sent troops, tanks and artillery into the Donbas.[30][31]

You have yet to post a single honest word on this board.

Sorry too but all Americans have no choice but to care about the Ukraine.

In case of nuclear war you could write a letter to Biden, telling him you've renounced your citizenship and you refuse to notice the 50 megatonner a half mile away!

It's a good thing that some Americans are revising the talking points on America's war against Russia.

They should also find a way to deal with Zelensky becoming the loose cannon too.
Once again, your brain cells have misfired and led you to post comments that are entirely unresponsive.

My comments haven't been unresponsive, or unworthy of response, but I'll test them again with you later.

To put it in it's simplest terms, America gambled that it could deprive Russia of their Crimea naval base, but America knew before the fact that it would be a bridge too far and it would result in Russia taking a stand to protect it.

Fortunately for Russia, their stand was legitimized on account of the choice made by about 90% of the people of the Crimea.

The best way to come to an understanding on what America attempted is to understand that America had the foresight to understand that there would be an alliance formed with China/Russia/and the Brics, and that America's hegemony was about to end.

Russia without their Crimea Naval base would already be partially defanged. It just didn't work out that way.

What side is going to win this war?

Spoken like a devout Putinhead, but the rest of the world understands the war began with the2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Which side will win the war?

Where is the USSR now?

LOL “Biden’s half”!

It’s funny you think the Biden half would ever question his idiotic policies.

Maybe. But that is pointless. Trump's bravado statement was meaningless. And Zelensky’s remark about it was the same.

any comment on this ?

The Russians and Ukies have been fighting off and on since 1991. The Russians ethnicists in the four eastern oblasts want to be in Russia, and the Uki neighbors do not.
