13 month old boy shot and killed in Milwaukee

he was a lousy shot....he hit 43, out of 214 shots....he bypassed a lot of people just sitting there...and for some reason he didn't decide to kill them....

And you are glad he had hi cap magazines....

No. I'm sad the soldiers were disarmed in front of this monster....they could have saved almost all of those people....if they had pistols....or even AR-15s....

I've no idea why they made it so they can't be armed... Seems silly to me but I guess I'd have to go back and see why they passed that.

and this isn't even figured into your equation...

As the shooting continued outside, nurses and medics entered the building, secured the doors with a belt and rushed to help the wounded.[29] According to the responding nurses, there was so much blood covering the floor inside the building, that they were unable to maintain balance, and had difficulty reaching the wounded to help them.[

10 magazine changes Brain....please...you are now embarrassing yourself...more....

So you are actually trying to say nobody escaped during any magazine changes?

People also escaped while he was shooting...but he still shot 43 people...killing 13....your theory is really, really dumb....

How long did he kill....

The incident, which lasted about 10 minutes,[36] resulted in 13 killed—12 soldiers and one civilian; 11 died at the scene, and two died later in a hospital; and 30 people wounded.[37][38]

And he was charged by 3 people....who he managed to shoot...and killed 2....

And others have successfully charged like at Giffords.

Yes they did. And more people will escape the more often he has to reload.

Yeah...Columbine disputes your theory as well...a library full of victims...and they reloaded their guns from a duffle bag.....takes a lot more time than just from their belt...yet they still did it...with 10 round magazines....

Columbine High School massacre - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

On April 20, Harris was equipped with a 12-gauge Savage-Springfield 67H pump-action shotgun (which he discharged a total of 25 times) and a Hi-Point 995 Carbine 9 mm carbine with thirteen 10-round magazines (which he fired a total of 96 times).

Klebold was equipped with a 9 mm Intratec TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun with one 52-, one 32-, and one 28-round magazine and a 12-gauge Stevens 311D double-barreled sawed-off shotgun. Klebold primarily fired the TEC-9 handgun for a total of 55 times, while he discharged a total of 12 rounds from his double-barreled shotgun.

12 rounds from a double barrel shotgun....takes a hell of alot longer to reload that thing than the 10 round magazine.....

At 11:29 a.m., Harris and Klebold entered the library, where a total of 52 students, two teachers and two librarians had concealed themselves.[8]

Harris yelled, "Get up!" in a tone so loud that he can be heard on Patti Nielson's 9-1-1 recording at 11:29:18.[39] Staff and students hiding in the library exterior rooms later said they also heard the gunmen say: "All jocks stand up! We'll get the guys in white hats!"

(Wearing a white baseball cap at Columbine was a tradition among sports team members.)[8] When no one stood up, Harris said, "Fine, I'll start shooting anyway!" He fired his shotgun twice at a desk, not knowing that a student named Evan Todd was hiding beneath it. Todd was hit by wood splinters but was not seriously injured.
The shooters walked to the opposite side of the library, to two rows of computers. Todd hid behind the administrative counter. Kyle Velasquez, 16, was sitting at the north row of computers; police later said he had not hidden underneath the desk when Klebold and Harris had first entered the library, but had curled up under the computer table. Klebold shot and killed Velasquez, hitting him in the head and back.

They walked back toward the windows facing the outside staircase. Noticing police evacuating students outside the school, Harris said: "Let's go kill some cops." He and Klebold began to shoot out the windows in the direction of the police, who returned fire.[28][40]

And no doubt people escaped because they had to reload.

People survived because they were bad shots....not because they had to change magazines.....

Sorry but people were escaping the school. Having to stop and reload allowed more to escape.

Another gunman stopped at reload:
When Kinkel's rifle ran out of ammunition and he began to reload, wounded student Jacob Ryker tackled him, assisted by several other students. Kinkel drew the Glock and fired one shot before he was disarmed, injuring Ryker again as well as another student. The students restrained Kinkel until the police arrived and arrested him.[

And another:
Ferguson had emptied two 15-round magazines during the shooting. While reloading his third magazine, somebody yelled, "Grab him!"[13] Passengers Michael O'Connor, Kevin Blum and Mark McEntee tackled Ferguson and pinned him to one of the train's seats.[14] Several other passengers ran forward to grab his arms and legs and help hold him pinned across a three-seat row with his head towards the window and legs towards the aisle.

Again...in a confined space of a train car...and he still managed a reload .....and the teacher...one lucky woman....and the shotgun...if he had done a combat reload the gun would not have been empty....

Bill these are actual lives saved. Sorry every killer hasn't properly trained and planned his killings, but that is reality. These are all actual events.

Another shooting stopped at reload. This time it was a shotgun, but still interesting. Good thing he didn't have a semi auto with hi cap magazine...

Brain...this doesn't help your theory....if he had a pistol with your 10 round magazines he wouldn't have been stopped..just like Fort Hood...the shotgun guy was loading individual shells...if he had studied loading from a shooting position he would have killed that kid.....

All you have are IF's Bill. But they mean nothing because this is how things actually happened. He was stopped at reload. That simple. Sorry he wasn't better trained.

Brain...they aren't ifs....time after time these killers have no problem killing lots of people with your magical magazine changes, and victims are killed charging shooters...three at Fort Hood alone and they were soldiers, the principal at Sandy Hook.....your theory is dumb and luck as a tactic is stupid....

Ok so lots of lives have been saved in the real world and that is stupid to you? This is not a tactic, I'm telling you what actually has happened in the real world.

I whole lot more bad is being done with hi cap magazines by criminals than will ever be done by good guys needing them. I still haven't heard an example of a good guy NEEDING one....

Virginia tech....your theory didn't work....

Virginia Tech shooting - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

According to several students, before the shooting began Cho looked into several classrooms. Erin Sheehan, an eyewitness and survivor who had been in room 207, told reporters that the shooter "peeked in twice" earlier in the lesson and that "it was strange that someone at this point in the semester would be lost, looking for a class".[29] At about 9:40 a.m, Cho began shooting.[6]:90 Cho's first attack after entering Norris occurred in an advanced hydrology engineering class taught by Professor G. V. Loganathan in room 206. Cho first shot and killed the professor, then continued firing, killing nine of the thirteen students in the room and injuring two others.[6]:90 Next, Cho went across the hall to room 207, in which instructor Jamie Bishop was teaching German. Cho killed Bishop and four students; six students were wounded.[6]:90 Cho then moved on to Norris 211 and 204.[28] In both of these classrooms, Cho was initially prevented from entering due to barricades erected by instructors and students. In room 204, Professor Liviu Librescu, an IsraeliHolocaust survivor, forcibly prevented Cho from entering the room. Librescu was able to hold the door closed until most of his students escaped through the windows, but he died after being shot multiple times through the door. One student in his classroom was killed.[30]Instructor Jocelyne Couture-Nowak and student Henry Lee were killed in room 211 as they attempted to barricade the door.[31] According to the Virginia Tech Review Panel's report, eleven students died in room 211 and the six students who survived all suffered gunshot wounds.[6]:91 However, one of the survivors, Clay Violand, has stated that he played dead and escaped without injury.[32]
