3 stupid myths republicans believe

so "94% of them don't want to work"

well thank goodness libs have trillions of other people's money and an inept economic agenda to grant them their wish!!

idiot
It's cute how you abandon your moronic positions as they get swatted down, just rolling from one rightarded talking point to the next. :clap2:

poor idiot; I didn't abandon anything; I confirmed it

You did, did you?

show me where you confirmed Liberals want a 100% tax rate so the government can own "ALL" of everyone's money.

:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

All you've confirmed is how delusional you are.

poor idiot; I didn't abandon anything; I confirmed it

YAWN
you're chasing your tail; you cant win here. if people are sitting back collecting check; then it destroys the liberal view that people really do want to work
and since you haven't denied Obama's policies are costing jobs; rather you just laughably now say people don't want to work; you contradict your own talking point on working; and confirm Obama's policies cost jobs as well

give yourself round of applause!

Moron .... you're yawning at your own post. :clap2:

And your post demonstrates what an imbecile you are. Of course there are people who want to work. Stats place that number at around 6½ million. And of course there are people who don't want to work. That number is around 86 million. I never said either is 100% the case so am I not contradicting anything.

1) They do pay for themselves. You see, if you have more people paying taxes on more economic activity you can actually make MORE money then you currently have. In fact, every time taxes are cut, the economy improves and the treasury brings more money in. It's called the Laffer Curve, look it up.

2) The leadership sure leans that way. Progressives called themselves progressives because they believe in progresing society towards socialism/communism step by step. Through evolution rather than revolution. When progressives were exposed in the 1920s, they scared the heck out of the population and so rebranded themselves as liberals, while traditional "liberal" viewpoints were adopted by conservatives and libertarians.

3) Who the heck are you to determine what too wealthy is? If someone is blessed more for his labor, why should I have a right to force him to pay for what I want to be done? Why should I be angry at my brother because of his success? Rather, I should rejoice in it. And persuade and encourage him to use his resources wisely. But how he ultimately uses it is between him and God. Why do you want to be a robber in your heart?

1) bullshit. Only 4.6 jobs were created per million dollar cut from Bush's tax cuts. Tax cuts for the wealthy only help the wealthy. All they do is stimulate supply. They do very little to stimulate demand. Only a con would think less revenue is a good thing.

2) typical fluff. Why do you bother?

3) so you think it is a good thing only the wealthy have seen income gains since the 30s?

about one million more Americans were working in the Bush years then are working now.

true story

pretty comical; a left-wing idiot whining that the Bush tax cuts didn't create many jobs.
what did we get for the almost $1 trillion Obama Stimulus? do any of those jobs still exist?

be honest with your self leftard; do they still exist?
Link?

Hey now :eusa_hand: if you want to bitch slap that imbecile over that moronic comment of his, you're gonna have to git in line, buddy. :mm:

3 stupid myths republicans believe

Just three?

That hardly scratches the surface.

More conservative mythology:

The existence of a ‘liberal media.’

The existence of a ‘liberal elite.’

The existence of a ‘liberal judiciary.’

‘Will of the people’ trumps civil rights.

America is ‘in decline.’

There is no separation of church and state.

The existence of a ‘gay agenda.’

Hate speech is ‘illegal.’

There is no right to privacy.

The Federal budget works like a household budget.

Undocumented immigrants have no due process rights.

Congress lacks the authority to regulate commerce.

And that’s still just scratching the surface.

1) Tax cuts pay for themselves.

Wrong. Every dollar lost in revenue is one more dollar the government needs to borrow to pay their bills. It's so obnoxious when repubs complain of gov spending yet are too ignorant to realize tax cutting leads to more borrowing. You think over spending is the only reason for our debt? No, it is also because of Bush's tax cuts.

2) Liberals are socialists/communists

Also wrong. We are talking about fundamental definitions of words here. Saying liberals are socialists is just as stupid as saying conservatives are liberals.

3) The wealthy are not too wealthy.

95% of income gains have gone to the top 5% of earners despite the fact that the lower classes are responsible for most of the productivity. In fact, productivity has grown exponentially in the lower classes since the 30s yet wages have remained flat.

'Nuff said

The equalization that cutting infrastructure, funding for science and education is some how = to welfare for people sitting at home on their ass. These people on this one issue destroy their creditability. They're bad for America.

You might label these "Three stupid myths liberals believe Conservatives believe."
1) Depends on the tax cut. Cash for clunkers sure didnt pay for itself. But the history of capital gains taxes shows cuts to that tax more than pay for themselves. All tax cuts are not equal.
2) Liberals are basically socialists. Take the policies liberals want to see enacted in the economy and compare them with Euro-style socialists/social democrats and there isn't a lot of light between them.
3) There is no such thing as too wealthy. Who sets the limit on what is wealthy enough and what is too wealthy? The very question shows liberal bias. Conservatives believe people should be free to make their own decisions. If those decisions result in amassing tremendous wealth, fine. That benefits everyone else as well. Only liberals subscribe to some imaginary limit on wealth.
And again you post more debunked facts, that wages have remained flat (now since the 1930s, although usually people say it's the last 30 years. Neither is true).

we have record numbers of able-bodied Americans not participating in the labor force

seriously; you idiots on the Left need to shut your mouths and stop pretending you have a clue on economic matters. this is real life; not your ivory towers

Umm, some 94% of those not in the workforce don't want to work. That includes housewives, retired baby boomers, folks collecting disability, folks collecting welfares....
Um, 97% of all such statistics are made up on the spot.
In the Bush era the Europeans blamed our low unemployment rate on our high incarceration rate. Your "point" has about as much validity.

#4. Liberals are stupid, see 1, 2, 3 above.

And yet you can't explain what makes them stupid.

1. They believe government can run their lives

2. They believe that redistribution will really work this time

Number 3 is clear that Liberals believe in redistribution of wealth. That is a collectivist position (socialism/communism). Wages increase when the free market is healthy and cash is put into the economy, not the State.

Tax cuts don't cost anything.

And no one can have too much money. You are free to make as much as you want. Just because some people are better at it than you is no reason to be jealous. What's next people better looking than you must be uglied down to make it "fair"

People speak IN ABSOLUTES when it comes to economics. For instance

The LAFFER Curve --some say it is true, others point to the times when it is not true.

Here's the thing...sometimes it is true that cutting taxes increases revenue...sometimes it is not true.

It depends on a whole host of other things in the economy.

Not the least of which is this...what is the state of the supply/demand situation?

But no many of you continue to think a healthy economy needs a constant recipe that never changes.,

Idjits.

The Laffer curve is appropriatly named. So, Clinton increased taxes, and the economy tanked during his terms, right? And Bush Jr. cut taxes, so the economy soared during his terms?

Get real. We all know recent history. The Laffer curve is exactly the same as the 'trickle down'. Just another lie in order to increase the wealth of the already very wealthy.

Yeah let's ignore all the other shit that affects the economy and pretend that it's only taxes.

be honest with your self leftard; do they still exist?

The financial crisis happened under Bush's watch. We lost 2.3 million jobs in his last few months. Millions more were lost until the The Recovery Act was implemented. Altogether, the stimulus created or saved 2.5 million jobs. Had it been bigger like it was meant to be, we would be out of this mess.

The dishonesty of the Left on this site is unbelievable!
The economic crash was a direct result of Laws the Democrats passed from Carter to Clinton.
Oh you of short memory!
Bush warned of the coming crash early in his Administration and was screamed down and called anti poor, and racist, by the Democrats.
You so soon forget the Black Democratic Caucus leading the Democrats in threatening to file racial discrimination charges against institutions and their CEO's if they turned down applications by blacks for Home Loans, loans they couldn't repay. Whites who couldn't repay the loans were also included in the whole mess, of course the poor whites don't have the Sharptons and Jacksons leading them, but they do have the Democratic Party.

The stimulus went mostly as pay back to Obama's big donors.
2.5 million 'created or saved'? That is a misleading and disingenuous statement!
The bailout of GM and Chrysler was a pay-off to the Unions. The stockholders were 'thrown over the cliff', but they don't count, they're mostly Republican voters.
GM claims to have paid back the 'loan' but actually the TAXPAYERS are still out over 8 billion dollars.

Fact is, the workforce in the U.S. is smaller than it has been since 1978.

we have record numbers of able-bodied Americans not participating in the labor force

2) Perhaps you weren't watching this then:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRPbCSSXyp0]Meet Joe Plumber/ Obama talks to Joe Plumber (FULL VIDEO) - YouTube[/ame]

3) And what far corner of your backside did you pull this out of? At any rate, the income gap has increased more under this president than any other. Wages have also never remained flat. When the Minimum Wage Act was passed in 1938, it was 25 cents an hour. Fast forward 70 years to 2008, the minimum wage was $7.25 an hour.

all of the sudden the Left is saying huge numbers of people actually dont want to work. they would be the first to soil themselves in a hissy fit if a Republican said that

idiots and hypocrites
