53% of Americans Think Republicans are Too Extreme

I think a lot of Americans are starting to like the "so called" free stuff from the government. They aren't feeling the pinch of the debt that it's creating, and as long as the government can manipulate the dollar it's going to keep happening.
Eventually what goes up has to come down....until that day.....

you still going with that "free stuff" nonsense?

it has nothing to do with "free stuff". it has to do with -- the proven failure of the policies of the right.

if it were 'free stuff', the red states, which take way more from the feds than they give, would be blue states.

Pure comedy!

In U.S., Nearly Half Identify as Economically Conservative
View attachment 23242

Conservatives out number liberals almost two to one .. 46% to 20% on economic issues
On social issues..38% conservatives to 28% liberal..
Still more of us Americans are conservative economically/socially then YOU NON-AMERICAN liberals.

Well, then it shouldn't be so difficult for you to win National Elections, right?

Non-American? Sorry, but until you are successful in changing the Constitution, I'm an American. Born and served here in this country, the United States of America.

Lordy, lordy. People you lost the 2012 election. The Democrats retained the Presidency, retained the Senate, and made gains, and, while not retaking the House, they made gains there also.

Yes, the American voter tends to be economically conservative. Hardly a good thing for the GOP. Given their record of running up huge deficits in economically good times, one has to ask is this the party of economic conservatism?

^^^^^ See, this is how you win National Elections...by telling the winning side how stupid they are for voting for the guy that won. That'll turn people to your way of thinking for sure! Well done!:clap2:

Yep.

They act like they're happy after what should be a truly humiliating defeat against a truly vulnerable incumbent and a weakened opposing party. Perhaps that's just part of the grieving process, I'm not a shrink.

Fascinating to watch.

Please, seawytch.

It is well known that the core Obama voter is the most ignorant fuck on the planet.

"Too extreme" is a leftist meme that basically tells me nothing...."Extreme" as defined how and by whose estimation?

GIGO.

No it's not.

The poll asked this question.

Overall, would you describe the views and policies of each of the following as too extreme, or as generally mainstream?

53% said "too extreme" for the Republicans, up from 36% in 2010. 37% said the same for Democrats.

Now, we can try to win elections or we can fantasize about millions of imaginary voters who'd vote Republican because if they were just more conservative but don't care about the country turning "communist" while not alienating millions more voters turned off by the party becoming more extremist.

what Democrats would like to FORGET, is that 48% of the VOTERS voted AGAINST them in this election..

even with all the hate and fear mongering they did about war on weeemen, war on abortion, war on everyone and everything

but they want to believe like a 100% of the people embraced their message

I just shake my head and laugh

Does this mean then that you feel the GOP doesn't need to change anything?

.

i'm surprised it's not a larger number.

Right. That leaves 47 % who think they aren't too extreme. I wonder what percentage thinks both parties are too extreme?

There is extremism on both ends of the spectrum. Republicans get strapped with you Libertarian freaks even though you really don't vote for them.

But we reject your extremism. I mean, we ran Mitt Romney for POTUS, for cryin out loud!

Democrats, on the other hand, are controlled by their extreme elements.

POLL: Voters more likely to see Democrats as dominated by extremists - The Hill

why should I, you people don't ever see anything the democrats need to change..
you think people who are Republicans should be ashamed

So, just trying to get an answer here, your answer is "no, the GOP doesn't need to change anything."

Is that correct?

That would be my answer...keep going on the same track GOP and the Dems will be in control for at least the next 20 years. (not that I think that is a good thing, but actions have consequences)

They need to get rid of the RINO's and moderates is what they need to do. Let them start their own party... call themselves "The Fence Sitting Party."

Because so called republicans constantly caving in to obama and the socialist democrat party is a losing strategy. We found that out in the last election.

Who cares what Americans think at this point?! They showed how much they thought when they re-elected Obama.

^^ They showed how little they knew when they elected Obammy.
