A few questions for the fundies

Well... there are lots of liberals in this country.
I'm not one of them, I'm a Libertarian.
Libertarians are leftist discards, dude. They are worse than liberals. Here's what Ayn Rand had to say about them...
All kinds of people today call themselves “libertarians,” especially something calling itself the New Right, which consists of hippies, except that they’re anarchists instead of collectivists. But of course, anarchists are collectivists. Capitalism is the one system that requires absolute objective law, yet they want to combine capitalism and anarchism. That is worse than anything the New Left has proposed. It’s a mockery of philosophy and ideology. They sling slogans and try to ride on two bandwagons. They want to be hippies, but don’t want to preach collectivism, because those jobs are already taken. But anarchism is a logical outgrowth of the anti-intellectual side of collectivism. I could deal with a Marxist with a greater chance of reaching some kind of understanding, and with much greater respect. The anarchist is the scum of the intellectual world of the left, which has given them up. So the right picks up another leftist discard. That’s the Libertarian movement. Ayn Rand
So you and Ayn Rand can't deal with Libertarians. So what does that matter anyways?

Anarchists aren't that hard to deal with. Just turn the water canon on the occupiers, amirite?

I like to know who I am talking to, bro. Take it easy.

So, your a big believer in amorality and moral relativity. Who knew?

Actually, I did.
I don't think that you know what the Libertarian Party even stands for.
Amorality. That's all anyone needs to know.

It's actually worse than immorality.

Wrong.

The notion of a ‘higher power’ is actually a very recent creation of man, manifesting around the advent of civilization.

Totemism was the belief system that existed for the vast majority of human history – the worship of nature and the earth, where belief in an afterlife was universal and afforded to all, a natural process independent of religious doctrine, dogma, or a ‘higher power.’

Indeed theism/deism is the aberration.
Don't kid yourself, the argument over the existence of God or a higher power or a Creator is as old as man.
And dingbat was run out of the religious forum at least once already with his nonsensical theories.
I don't recall that, bro.

My beliefs are rock solid too.

That's why you guys get so flustered. You have a preference for an outcome but lack the means to achieve it.
So what outcome is my preference?
To not be made to look stupid.
And you don't care if you look stupid? Well, that explains a lot. Thanks for clearing that up for us.

Talking with a smug doofus is always trying, as you missed the point again.
Your behavior says otherwise, Taz.

I didn't miss your point, Taz. I refuted it.

The only smug doofus I am aware of is the one going around calling others smug doofuses.
Go back to reading the bible, it’s all you can handle.
I prefer having in-depth discussions with you.

I think we both know who is getting handled, amirite?
So how did Noah get kangaroos from Australia and back again?

As for who is getting handled, you can't even handle yourself, no matter how many time a day you try.
You do understand what allegorical means, right?

Help me help you to not look so stupid, Taz.
Oh, so you don't believe that the bible is true either. Well, there's at least that.

I've looked stupid before. It's not so bad.

Thanks for letting me know that piece of information about you.

Vanity is the devil's favorite sin.

I didn't say that. An allegorical account of a real event is still true. It is just being told in allegory.

Did you graduate high school?

Dude, I just told you. The central theme of the libertarian party is amorality.

Maybe you are the one who doesn't understand your party.

So what's the underlying event that they don't mention in the bible but that the Flood is actually about?

Ummmm.... a very large scale flood that was big enough that every culture had an account of a flood.

The account of Noah is actually recorded as symbols in the Chinese written language and it was done 4500 years ago, 1500 years before Moses recorded it.

Don't you know anything, bro?

How is it that some dumb shit like me who believes in sky fairies, knows so much fucking more than you do about just darn near everything?

It only appears like that to you in your fantasy world. You better stay there.

No, dude. It appears like that to anyone reading our exchanges. You can't fake intelligence, bro.

I have yet to read anything you have written that would make me think you know anything about anything.

Maybe you should tell me about Libertarians. Let's see if you know anything about that.

My questions for you when you've gain full power in this nation are:
1. Will I be able to live(at all) in your christian fundie nation 10 years from now?
2. Will I still be able to watch porno and have freaky sex with my wife?
3. Will I be able to talk about the shit I do today 10 years from now when you're fully in power? Meaning will I be allowed to discuss issues that have to do with LGBT?

You are seriously flattering yourself that anyone is the least bit interested in your existence.

I've known plenty of mormons. They tend to be good productive members of society, however they get there.

That's the reality of the situation.

And you making fun of their religion, says more about you, then them.
Ya, it says I know funny when I see it, they don't.

My answer to the OP stands.

In REpublican controlled America, you have freedom of speech.

IN the UK, controlled by people more like Mathew and you, you do not.

I'll side with the Mormons and their magic underwear over you lefties any day.
In your republican America you also have freedom to live in a make believe world and be taken seriously.

Minus your spin, I agree that in America you have religious Freedom.

I just think that is a good thing.

YOu are against it.
We need Freedom FROM religion. Religion is a make-believe thing and we take it WAY too seriously. Some religious freedom is ok, but we've gone way overboard...

You need freedom from religion? Why, is someone coming by your house every Sunday morning and forcing you to attend church at gunpoint or something?

Or are you suggesting that you need some invented "right" to live in complete obliviousness to any and all beliefs of other people that you don't like? Because I'm sure you can find a nice mountaintop to isolate yourself on, and I'm sure lots of people will volunteer to help you pack.

Religious people are trying to teach Creationism is school, a totally made up concept. They are trying to deny gays the right to marry, to be served in stores (the cake incident...). They are also trying to overturn Roe vs Wade and tell people what to do with their own bodies. They are heavily against the transgender. They support Israel for the sole reason of igniting Armageddon so that Zombie Jesus can come back again. Don't actually want anyone else to have actual freedom of religion, like Muslims who aren't allowed sharia law, and Rastafarians who will get arrested for smoking weed, which to them is part of their religion. Should I go on?

Blah blah blah "I see the world this way, and you must pretend that it is reality!"

I just heard you say exactly what I already did, which basically makes it a redundant waste of time: you think you need the "right" to have everyone who disagrees with you shut up and let you pretend no beliefs but yours exist.

I find the constant need of leftists to spew their poison into society enormously annoying, but you don't see me trying to deny them the right to express their beliefs and try to influence public policy according to them by sniveling about need "freedom from idiots". Sack up, dude. If I didn't make it clear before, no one's "forcing" religion on you unless someone's actually hauling you to church in handcuffs.

I just showed you how the religious are trying to force others to live by their rules. You don't have to shut up, you just have to stop trying to get me to live by your rules, which your side fights incessantly for them to be put into laws.

No, you just showed me that religious people are availing themselves of the same First Amendment rights to try to affect society that you have no problem arrogating to yourself. If I pointed out that leftists are teaching all manner of things in classrooms - not just TRYING to teach them, but actually teaching them - that the parents of the children themselves find repellant, that gays are shutting down businesses and hauling people in front of the US Supreme Court to demand that they do things they don't want to, that leftists pushed abortion-on-demand on the nation by dodging around the actual legal process for passing laws, that they are trying to pass laws actually demanding that people not just tolerate their behavior but must actively pretend to agree with them, we both know you would just airily dismiss it all as no big deal, and insist it wasn't forcing anything on anyone.

I think what I'm trying to say is that you're a giant, whining hypocrite who should grow a pair and learn that you have no right to be agreed with and applauded. MOST people figure that out by the time they hit kindergarten, but I realize that leftists are a bit slow.

Sure if you Cherry pick the data, you can come up with pretty much any conclusion you choose. So Christianity is normal in a not normal country like the US. Agreed?
By any objective standard, belief in a higher power is the norm and atheism is the exception. It's been that way since the beginning of man and for good reason too.

Nor even the means to intelligently debate them.

Let's keep it real.

HIs pretense that he doesn't understand the meaning of the word "normal" or even it's relationship with the word, "norm" is

UTTERLY PATHETIC.
