A mother's final act of love.

Was watching the news. With a tornado on the way a mother put her three kids in a bath tub, laid a mattress on top of the tub and laid on the mattress to keep it down. The kids survived, she didn't.

You talk to most of us mothers here, most of us would do the same for our children. I have no doubt that I would do so.

I'm thinking she could have jumped in the tub with them and they could have held the mattress down with at least as much force as her weight on top.

No. A better place would be here to raise her kids. This is sad.
