The religious liberty guaranteed by the Constitution is not a favor from the government, but a natural right bestowed by God. Our Constitution and our laws that protect religious freedom merely recognize the right that all people have by virtue of their humanity. As Thomas Jefferson wisely questioned: "can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?"

There is a 60 year old lady where I work and she overheard 3 of us talking about the bill yesterday and she came over and said "I campaign for him and as you all know no one could say no wrong without me flying off the handle" well since he is proud of the bill introduced he and the other's will get my vote again and if a decent dem comes along I am switching parties. As the summer wore on and I watched many of his rally's I saw a pattern by him and his follower's and ended up voting holding my nose for Gary Johnson. I liked Gary but when he couldn't name a world leader. I may have voted for Rand Paul if he was nominated.
