While you make some good points, I am not a fan of the "well at least Ted Bundy did not eat his victims like Jeffry Dahmer did" defense.

If you were caught speeding and someone had just passed you going 10 MPH faster, could you get out of the ticket by pointing at the faster car and saying "what about them?"

No one has heard this supposed recording. So far it’s been, I know a guy who said he knows a guy who heard from another guy that his buddy told him that he heard about this recording from a guy he one knew.

Now if he was showing people classified material, were they authorized access and they did they have a security clearance?
