Divorce rates since the 1970's have been 50% give or take some fluctuation

It's common knowledge
You've fallen for a myth. Read and learn.
The historical belief that 50 percent of all marriages end in divorce and that over 60 percent of all second marriages end in divorce appear to be grossly overstated myths. Not only is the general divorce rate most likely to have never exceeded 40 percent but the current rate is probably closer to 30 percent.

And then there's this:
In addition, the general data suggests that cohabiting couples break up at twice the rate of married couples.

Or does the pathetic excuse for a man you put in the White House in 2016 have more an effect on young men deciding to take the path of atheism or walk through life according to the time-tested rules of God?

Trolls don’t ask questions like that Mashmont. 22FEB18-POST#0139
President Trump is a beacon for young people because he turned his life around. He's been married now for 17 years, and dropped his philandering liberal ways, dropped the Democrat Party. His is a story of redemption and triumph. Whereas atheist Rodgers continues to cohabit to this day. His redemption is yet to come, hopefully.
Then you have Bill Clinton. He NEVER learned his lesson even after leaving the White House traveling to Jeffrey Epstein sex Island, going on at least 26 sex trips with him. Clinton is an abomination and a terrible example for young people.

Again so the fuck what?

Other people's relationships are none of you fucking business.

Why do you have the pathological need to try to make people live by your rules?

Judgmental much? I've been with my wife going on 46 years, married for 40+ of those, and yes, we lived together 5+ years before we got married. So you were saying about relationships like that not lasting? Give me a freaking break.

.
Already linked it, amigo. Marriages preceded by premarital sex fail at a greater rate than those where couples waited until marriage. The former marriages aren't as good and don't last as long, the study found.

When relationships fail and kids are raised without both parents, all of society suffers. Try to see beyond yourself. It isn't just about you.

Studies show that married people who are shitty parents harm kids.
You argue like a child. We're talking about likelihood here. Trends. Talking about which situation, other things equal, leads to better results for kids. Married parents work better for kids than split parents, generally speaking.

It's just as likely that a divorced couple will be good parents as a married couple will be.

Parents being married is not a guarantee of those people being good parents.

Split parents are worse for kids. Study after study shows this.

Who said it was? And what does that have to do with the trend?
So what?

Life is not neat and tidy and marriage and religions aren't the balm for all social ills as you seem to think it is

Actually Christianity and marriage work a lot better than the alternative as a rule..

Bullshit.

Christians aren't any better parents than anyone else

You worship a thrice divorced serial cheater who brags about sexually assaulting women.
