Albert Einstein on Socialism

Capitalism is like fire, very useful if kept under control, very dangerous if left to do what it pleases.
Yes, people treating it like a religious faith are deluded, any ideology can be perverted to serve a select few at the expense of everyone else. Trusting capitalism to self-regulate is like trusting a hyena not to chew your face off.

Trusting that your fucking socialists in the democrat party actually care about the poor, and believing socialism is some fucking utopia is you being the fat bloviated fucking moron.

You stupid fucking moron.

In a monetary system, capitalism (better known as free market enterprise) works MOST PRACTICAL.

You ignorant fucking moronic tool.

I am still waiting for one of you smelly hypocritical trust fund babies better known as "occupy wall street morons" to let us all know why there are not droves of people trying to leave America for those great socialist countries.

You never even attempt to answer the question you dumb blind fuck. As you sit there wiping your ass with Charmin, banging your key board on evil computers, brushing your fucking teeth with Crest, drinking your fucking Budweiser, and enjoying ALL of the other amenities that the free market has provided for you.

You stupid ignorant spoiled pile of unappreciative liberal socialist shit.

Tell us again how great socialism is and how it is just such a utopia. LOL at you thinking you are so fucking wise.
Eat shit you vulgar testicle wart, If you cannot discuss ideas without being a shitty asshole of a stereotypical conservative then you can shove your hatred of humanity up your diseased hemorrhoidal ass sideways. I got nothing to say to people who are motivated by blind rage and are unable to speak in a civilized way, you crappy un-American rich man ass-kissing ball of unfocused rage and loathing. How do you like me now dick?
That was a very measured response.

State clearly how capitalism can exist without strongly exerting it's influence over the government, you cannot. It is the nature of wealth to seek political power. This stupid cop-out you people use to wriggle out of defending the plutocratic side effects of capitalism is nothing but a smoke screen. Capitalism breeds plutocracy, there is no avoiding it, especially when any attempt to prevent plutocracy is greeted with knee-jerk accusations of socialism or class warfare.
State clearly how any economic system is going to avoid government. This is the stupid cop-out socialist use, as if more government involvement in the marketplace brings us closer to perfection.

Anyone with any experience with government knows how foolish that is. Capitalism doesn't rely on goodness, wholesomeness, the fairness of mankind or any other fairytale. It relies on a marketable product or service that people are willing to pay for. We need jobs to make stuff and jobs to pay for stuff so people go to work or they start their own enterprise.

No system is perfect and none will be any better than those running it. Putting down capitalism for socialism is based on the notion that other people can spend your money more wisely than you.

No one around here is even suggesting that a purely socialist economy is a good thing but it seems to me that many of you champions of capitalist purity are suggesting that capitalism would be perfect with zero government involvement. You guys are the ones pushing an unrealistic utopian vision. There are many downsides to our modern capitalist system, it is not heresy to discuss them and some possible solutions. Quit trying to debate economics as an ideological purist, we are talking about the real world here where there can be no absolutes. The people we are talking about damned sure left any idealism behind long ago to do what helps their bottom line.

No one around here is suggesting pure socialism? That is all you wastes of utter shit ever talk about. You are the fucking tools that buy into the notion that socialism is a utopia. You actually believe the democrats care about the poor and minorities. How fucking dumb are you anyway?

Free market enterprise works most practical in a monetary system.

You are too fucking brainwashed, too fucking ignorant, too fucking hypocritical and too much of a hack to see it.

Moron.

You just cannot stop being vulgar can you? If your ideas are so good then it does not take a bunch of gratuitous profanity and abuse to defend them. Also eat a big bag of cocks prick.

Just another dogmatic defender of the faith. This sad individual does not even know why he believes capitalism is perfect and then accuses others of being brainwashed.

Just like with pure capitalism, a planned economy puts too much faith the goodness of a few men.

Bingo.

The key is in finding the proper equilibrium, a system that is carefully, thoughtfully and efficiently regulated and implemented without that very regulation creating too much of a drag on the dynamics of that system.

Socialism/Capitalism, either/or, binary thought here. It's not one or the other. Our system has always been a blend.

.
It seems the proper blend for dogmatic capitalists is for the government to protect "job creators" from the rabble but not to protect the rabble from them. Any consumer protection measures or labor law are going too far if they do anything at all. These capitalist champions who blame the shortcomings on cronyism react to anything to combat the practice with horror.

Psst... dumbass. Crony-capitalism is a misnomer. It's not capitalism. (It's socialism.) And it fails, every time it's tried. But that's only because nature requires that it must fail.

It's simple: don't allow government to have authority over anything economically lucrative. Of course, what the Libturd morons want to know is how can you have a powerful regulatory welfare state without corruption. Answer: you can't. Corruption and the welfare state go hand-in-hand, not corruption and capitalism.

Corruption is axiomatic with power...

As result, the more powerful thinkers have long felt that the best means to avoid corruption is to recognize, respect, defend and adhere to the principles in nature which govern human behavior... and where government is necessary to divide government, lending specific enumerated powers, which provide for checks and balances and setting intrinsic division of the overall power structure, of a government, the power of which is strictly defines and otherwise constitutes such.

Unfortunately that didn't work. Once Lincoln destroyed the right of states to secede, he destroyed any possible effective check on the federal government. Secession and nullification are the only mechanisms that will keep the federal government in check.

You really need to read my post again since most of it was lost on you.
Purity is a religious concept, I said nothing of the sort about capitalism, humans or economics.

The market is amoral. No society should be amoral. Therefore, no society should be ruled by the market.

I just looked at a dollar. It had no emotions or anything to say except "I'm a buck". Turn on Dr. Phil if you feel the need for emotional validation. If I bust my ass I want to get paid, I don't want some stupid bastard telling me about their feelings.

It's proven that both pure capitalism and pure socialism don't work. The US needs less pandering to the rich at the moment, and more investment in the people and the country. See sig.

Purity is a religious concept, I said nothing of the sort about capitalism, humans or economics.

Indeed, capitalism is merely the natural order of economics... and as long as those engaging in it recognize, respect, defend and adhere to the natural principles that govern human behavior, it works flawlessly.

Of course, not everyone is sufficiently heeled to gather sufficient objectivity to do so... and that does create problems.

Now, of the two species of reasoning... good and evil. or right and wrong... OKA: Right and Left... which do you suppose is the problem?

The one which advocates for the adherence to soundly reasoned absolutes common to sound principle... or the one that rejects such principle and the objectivity essential to recognizing such?

What has always tickled me is that the Left corrupts everything it touches, then it goes about braying that such is 'corrupt'.

They elect thieves, grifters and sexual deviants... time and again and cry and cry that 'the system is CORRUPT!'

And what happens when one of their politicians is caught red handed taken bribes, or sexually molesting children? Why they RE-ELECT THEIR ASS!

So... as with most of this stuff, there's nothing complex about who, where and what the problem is. Hells bells, in the wake of the most recent catastrophic failure of socialist policy, which crashed the international financial markets and in the middle of the war with Islam... they elected a Muslim-Marxist.

LOL! The jackass had never been a dam' thing in his life... was set into a Senator slot by the Chicago Democrat Machine... spent his entire adult life selling himself a 'Kenyan Born'... they run the SOCB for PRESIDENT of the United States... in the premise of his being a fiscal conservative. Without so much as a birth certificate, they get a Democrat to certify him as qualified to run for office... and he's suddenly born in hawaii... and upon winnign election, he takes the average annual deficit from 150 billion to 1500 billion dollars a year... DOUBLING the national debt in 6 Years...

So a fiscal conservative spent more money in deficit, in just 6 years, than EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MANAGED TO DO IN 230 YEARS!

So... no. It's not a complex equation and it's not hard to identify the problem.

The problem is not Capitalism. The problem is Leftists, being allowed to participate in ANY system.

There has to be a hard line where the good of the nation overrules the right to profit. It is government's job to set just how much a person or company can exploit misery to their own advantage. No one objects to making murder for hire illegal but what about all the shades or grey between being a hitman and making an honest buck that does not hurt anyone? It is clear that you would set the threshold for exploitation quite low.

What a brainwashed twit lol...Booshies gave us the 2nd Pub World depression and the stupidest wars ever, Reaganists have wrecked the country for 30 years. See sig. Only cost 6-7 trillion to avoid the worst effects of the meltdown, functional moron.

How would the "right to profit" ever conflict with the good of the nation?

Einstein had his wish. There was no profit motivation in his greatest creation. Einstein and his fellow eggheads evaded criticism when they must have known that their ultimate physics experiment was destined to be used on innocent humans.
