All of Christ's worst modern enemies are on the left end of the political spectrum

Jesus was put to death by Roman authorities at the behest of Jewish religious authorities. The crucifixion was illegal because he did not commit a crime under Roman law.

The Jewish religious authorities wanted him killed because he proclaimed himself God when he said "I am."

Jesus did not have a poltiical message, he did not dabble in politics, he did not lend his aid to the Jews who were rebelling against Roman authority, in fact, he said "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's" which is a recognition that the Roman Empire was the lawful authority of the Jews at that time.

...and yet these same people like to lecture conservatives that they are bad Christians.

Christ's message is to love God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Christ's message to those who had wealth and income was to reach into your own pocket and help the needy.

This is very different from the leftist message of seizing property and income by force of arms from people who work and redistributing it to people who refuse to work.

The distinction is big, between voluntary redistribution of wealth, and involuntary redistribution of wealth.

One is done out of love, while the other is done with violence.

Don't know about that; many of the robber barons were huge fans of 'Social Darwinism', as are many today on the right big fans of mindless self-indulgence; they were as big on bashing Xians as the Commies were. And, today, they're the biggest fans of 'globalism' and their new BFF Red China, Wall Street made lotz o bucks off of labor racketeering and handing them technology that they're going to be killing Americans with sooner than later. They're actually a lot more dangerous than some dumbass stoner sociopath democrat here in the U.S.

Wow. The Jeebus is a fair-skinned, fair-haired white guy.

it's a fact - megan kelly said so.

The Bible has been taken and twisted to fit the greed narrative. It's good to garnering all the wealth one can. Just a fact. Jesus ministry was all about helping the poor. Plain and simple. Neither party is able to claim themselves as Christian.

where did Jesus advocate for tax cuts for rich people? I missed that part in the bible.

Ohhhh, your uneducated Progressive friends must think you're so clever!!!

You might want to read this book you feel so free to duscuss

Yep. Pick any issue where the left and right do not agree upon, and the left side with Satan.
You see these figments of yer imagination often?
Name one.

You can’t.

I’m right yet again.
How did I know you couldn't name one issue where the Left have not sided with Satan?

Define the left? hristian business owners? Can they be part of the left? How about 3rd party voters?

This is shallow thinking, on par with claiming those who are asking for donations of wheel chairs and to help with research on artificial limbs are actually people who hate cancer patients. After all, if they did not hate cancer patients they would be donating money to cancer rather than to those who lost limbs or the use of limbs.

That's probably the most retarded analogy you've come up with. Did you hurt your brain coming up with that. There's no excuse for shutting down the whole government to put up a wall that no one really wants or needs.

No one hates Mexico or Mexicans. What we have, just like the medical field, is limited resources for American citizens and migrants and refugees who come in through open doors and proper channels. Caring more for one thing does not indicate hate for what is lower down the list.

Here's the underlying problem with this argument. besides the fact that the number of people crossing the Southern Border is down 80% from where it was in 2000, (When NAFTA wrecked the Mexican agricultural economy) most undocumented workers who come here are not "Stealing resources' they are providing labor. Most of them have been here for decades, and have jobs and families and lives here.

But that Wing of Christianity whose philosophy is that Jesus hated gays and Mexicans just like they did, they are all for denying resources to people who actually need them so Trump can get his Wall of Hate.

Jesus was put to death by Roman authorities at the behest of Jewish religious authorities. The crucifixion was illegal because he did not commit a crime under Roman law.

That's kind of arguable... The Gospels themselves don't tell a consistant story.

The Jewish religious authorities wanted him killed because he proclaimed himself God when he said "I am."

And why is that a problem. The Old Testament clearly says that kind of blasphemy should be punished by death. Of course, today, we take nuts like Jesus, put them in mental institutions and give them medication..

Here's the problem with that position. Most of the Gospels that were accepted as "Canon" we done so when Christianity became the "official" religion of the Roman Empire, so of course, they weren't going to keep in Gospels that blamed the Romans. They were going to keep Gospels that blamed the Jews, who the Christians hated for not accepting their imaginary God-man.

You know nothing about which books are 'canon' and which aren't, or why they were chosen in the first place, and you know squat about the Romans as well. We've offered the challenge to all the bigots and morons who keep running around claiming Constantine made all those bishops rewrite the bible n stuff, and they all run away from the challenge, just like you will.

Almost all of the books were around for centuries, and any attempt by somebody or other to rewrite or change a thing in the book would be laughed out of the churches, bishops or no. You faggots should just focus on your agendas to 'decriminalize' pedophilia, advocacy of 'ethnic cleansing', and treason; you're all too stupid and psychotic to do anything else convincingly.

All Big Lies, repeated over and over and over again, just like the parrots are told to.

Your blind partisan eyes can’t see the trees because of the forest.

I never mentioned Constantine specifically... And you Christians today can't agree on which books in the Bible are Canon (The Catholics have 7 more books than the Protestants).

Almost all of the books were around for centuries, and any attempt by somebody or other to rewrite or change a thing in the book would be laughed out of the churches, bishops or no.

why would they have done that? Most of the population couldn't read, and probably didn't understand the language the books were being read in. The thing is, the "apocrophal" Gospels were around just as long as the Canon ones, but the four that were picked, the ones that contradicted each other the least (but still managed to) were the ones the Romans picked to be the official bible.
