There exists shelters for the homeless. Most homeless people will not stay in those because they are dangerous.
We've poured trillions of dollars in the last 50 years in the so called 'war on poverty' and guess what? It isn't getting any better. Proof again that every problem cannot be solved by simply throwing money at it.
It is time for the private sector, that means individuals, to step up. The taxpayer already do their share. More than enough.
It also time to crack down HARD on waste fraud abuse and punish those who are gaming the system. That includes do-nothing government employees whose bosses jobs are to protect their dept budgets.
