And About Darn Time!!

Teaching the evils of communism is good. Teaching the good things about capitalism is good. But get too hidy tidy america is so wonderful is almost as nauseating as anti Americanism. That decision should ONLY be decided at HOME.

Soviet Russia had people spying on people so they could be reported for service in the gulag...

Thanks Ron we know who you want to emulate and replicate.

Well, now we know who the fascists are...and the people like you who support them. :)
At least you're being honest.

Millions of people died under the brute force of Communist regimes. They still get killed today in place like China and North Korea. How is teaching about this any different than school pushing lessons in Critical Race Theory?

When you start legislating an ideologically based education like that, it is a bit disturbing. It becomes indoctrination dont you thing? It is politically and ideologically based.

On critical race theory, I question whether it is even being taught in schools. I was listening an interview with some on this and and she said most people have mo ide what it is, and have jumped on it for political purposes. It is a theoretical framework utilized for researching broad and complex topics. It isnt taught in K-12, and she said she doesnt even tea h it to her indergrads. So is this really just a nothingburger?

It does seem like state Republicans are signed a plethora of bills lately designed to politically influence how and what is taught in schools. Is this normally done?

"... most people have mo ide (sic) what it is,..."

Based on your spelling, I'll assume you are one of those USMB blind deer.....'no-eye deer'....so let me help you.

CRT is teaching our children that they are either a victim or an oppressor.
As usual, spelling Nazi's resort to their tactics when they cant refute an argument.

You seem to have no idea what it is. Where is it being taught?

Communism can be a Jewish Kibbitz or a Stalinist state. The Bosheviks fought a system as repressive as the one they eventually ended up with. Thete is nothin 9nhetently wrong with the idea that workers should have rights. Authoritarianism is a bigger evil. Maybe we should kids to think instead of brainwashing them to believe.

"In Orange County, California, much of our school districts (especially the district of Irvine) have adopted this new curriculum that teaches children to categorize and judge themselves and others by their race. It is an extremist ideological curriculum that exacerbates racism, and it vitiates Martin Luther King’s dream that our children “will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Whatever its objectives, this curriculum has no place in our k-12 schools.

It teaches children that meritocracy is a “myth” (their race determines what they will achieve in life) and that “freedom of confident action is there for just a small number of people.” It even includes a privilege-power scale by which children rank themselves and presumably others—with the first question assigning the maximum number of adverse points based on the child’s race and gender. And this is just the beginning.

After petitioning and receiving public records, the school district has slowly trickled out a handful of emails revealing how deep this hatred really goes. In fact, the emails also revealed that the school district used taxpayer dollars to contract with Sharroky Hollie, whose “pricey and provocative” seminars were stopped in another school in Florida after generating controversy and potentially encouraging people to “shame one another publicly.” It remains unclear how much the Irvine school district has paid him, or what else will come to light as the emails continue trickling out."
That isn't CRT.

But you inspired me to this lecture on Critical Race Theory......read it and be enlightened:

"The Bosheviks fought a system as repressive as the one they eventually ended up with."

Of course that is false.

Before the Russian Revolution, the number of execution by the czarist government came to seventeen (17) per year, according to Solzhenitsyn. He pointed out that, in comparison, the Spanish Inquisition, at its height, destroyed 10 people per month.

But, during the revolutionary years 1918-1919, Lenin's Cheka executed, without trial, more than one thousand (1,000) people a month.
At the height of Stalin's terror, 1937-1938, tens of thousands of people were shot per month. Solzhenitsyn, "Warning To The West."

From Solzhenitsyn's "Warning To The West,"... "Here are the figures: 17 a year, 10 a month, more than 1 ,000 a month, more than 40,000 a month! Thus, that which had made it difficult for the democratic West to form an alliance with pre-revolutionary Russia had, by 1941, grown to such an extent and still did not prevent the entire united democracy of the world — England, France, the United States, Canada, and other small countries — from entering into a military alliance with the Soviet Union, How is this to be explained? How can we understand it? " Full text of "Solzhenitsyn: The Voice of Freedom"

You should be begging me for a reading curriculum that would save you from this sort of embarrassment.

"... as the board proclaims, all white people are racists. Below that proclamation the class finds: Pay Pal me/ Ashleighthelion, and below that AshleighShackelford.com, a reference to the instructor telling the People of No Color they are all racists.

According to Huffpost, “Ashleigh Shackelford is a queer, nonbinary Black fat femme writer, cultural producer, and artist,” but according to this tweet, “she’s Hunter Ashleigh now.” Either way, the queer, nonbinary Black fat femme writer provided the perfect picture of Critical Race Theory.

“Critical” is a meaningless modifier for the hateful, racist indoctrination now going on in schools, government, the police and the military. “All White People are Racists,” is a justification for hostile action against the group CRT designates as oppressors. If CRT is not halted, violence will not be long delayed."

No it isn't.

Instead of attacking CRT, which many critics seem not not to understand and simply parrot what their talking heads say, it might be better to ask the following question:

How should race and racism in America be taught at each level?

What is historically accurate and aporopriate for each level?

That is the real conflict isnt it?

Instead we have, in multiple instances, rightwing legislaters using their polical power to silence voices in education using a fraudulant bogeyman. Ironic given they are themselves vociferous advocates of free speech and critics of cancel culture.

Frontpagemag...not surprising...but you manage to combine all the demographics hated by the right...female, queer, black and fat. And you still havent managed to indicate you have any understanding of CRT beyond what you parrot.

Notice that the Useful idiots can't say anything against Communism

Whittaker Chambers wrote in his book WITNESS that liberals are/were incapable of ever effectively fighting Communism because they did not see anything in Communism that was antithetical to their own beliefs. In short, Liberals are Communists and Communists are Liberals.

It should be taught FAIRLY, AND HISTORICALLY ACCURATE.

CRT is not.

CRT is itself, intensely racist. I suggest you read up on the creators of it, and likewise stop listening to the media who refuse to report accurately upon it.

Thanks once again you are nothing more tha a knee-jerk moron who is incapable of independent inquiry. Communism isn't a single ideology and it isn't solely a political philosophy but an economic and social one as well that long preceded Karl Marx. You hate communism? Then you hate the communal economies and cultures of many religious orders as well. Communism can be voluntary or involuntary, autoritarian or democratic. Learn something. I oppose authoritarian and involuntary, but if people eant it for themsekves and like minded fellows there is nothing wrong with it.
