Another concealed carry owner doing the wrong thing

Police work in some pretty high stress situations. More on a daily basis than many people do their whole life.

Do you realize that cops have more negligent discharges,of guns than civilian carriers do...and that civilian permit carriers commit less commit crime less than cops do as well? so should the police make you nervous? should the police be disarmed, first?

Where did anyone write this?

"This is why people shouldn't be carrying guns."

Here's what the entire thread started off with. If you're wanting to bicker about semantics (which I have no desire to) and how he only said "carrying" guns, just know that such semantics are irrelevant because banning people from carrying is just as unconstitutional as confiscating all the firearms in the country. Case after case supports this fact, too. "Shall issue" is the generic result of infringing in such a manner.

As I stated earlier, people just need to accept the harsh reality that the world is a dangerous place and people have a right to be armed. Nothing is going to change that.

Nope.

You said "... if people weren't allowed to have guns, this wouldn't happen ..."

"shouldn't be" is a lot different from "not allowed".

Just have the balls to carry it out in the open because have the right to get away from crazy people.

Let's see.....we are aware that the radical left doesn't think much of the 2nd Amendment and now it seems that they don't care about the 7th Amendment either.

generally the radical left identifies with those most needing shooting by law abiding peaceful Americans.

this is why gun hate is an almost exclusive barking left wing loon proclivity

Yes we have more accidental shootings than we do homicides with a gun. You are more likely to be accidently shot than killed by someone trying to kill you with a gun. Do that math.

This guy accidently shot himself and the driver of the car he was in. 2 for 1.

19000 accidental shootings a year compared to over 300 million firearms in private hands, can you do the math? Hell twice as many people DIE due to car accidents. I don't recall you demanding we outlaw cars.

Okay...do you have the courage of your convictions....could one of the gun grabbers please answer this question...

A Connecticut Nightmare mdash Introduction mdash Crime Library

Steven Hayes was on standby. The ex-con, bald, pudgy and middle-aged, was waiting in the yard for his younger friend to finish creeping into the house. They wanted it to be quiet.

It was about 3 a.m., and the man of the house was asleep on the porch. Hayes could see him and assumed the man's wife and daughter, about whom he'd heard from his friend, were also asleep. But they didn't know who else could be in the house. After waiting in the damp, early morning, Hayes finally saw his friend, Joshua Komisarjevsky, appear on the porch. He was carrying a baseball bat.

According to Komisarjevsky (pronounced Kom-ih-sore-JEFF-skee), who related his account to journalist Brian McDonald for the book In the Middle of the Night, he hit the sleeping man as hard as he could several times, and he and Hayes used zip-ties to restrain him. Thus began one of the most savage cases of home invasion in recent memory, one which shocked the nation and left a small town's residents feeling vulnerable and violated.

Over nearly seven hours on the morning of July 23, 2007, Dr. William Petit, along with his wife, Jennifer Hawke-Petit, and their two daughters would be bound and attacked. Beaten beyond recognition, Dr. Petit would ultimately escape his attackers, stumbling out of his basement and prompting neighbors to call 911. Moments later, Jennifer Hawke-Petit and the two daughters, Hayley, 17, and Michaela, 11, were burned in a fire started with gasoline doused around the house. Autopsy reports indicate the mother was raped and strangled before the fire, but the two young women died of asphyxia after being tied to their beds. The two accused killers, Komisarjevsky and Hayes, were captured by police while fleeing the burning home. They await trial in Connecticut for three murders.

They used a baseball bat....and raped and murdered a woman and two young girls and brutally beat the husband....without a gun...

Okay Brain357... You are given the chance to give a gun to the husband and wife before this attack...do you...? Not one of the anti gunners on this site or the one I came from will answer this question...they cowardly say that this question is a fallacy or some such nonsense because they know that how they answer will reveal a great deal about who they are....how their irrational fear of guns would compel them to allow these people to suffer this fate even if they could stop it with a gun....right?

WHAT? most gun deaths are suicides: most people killed with guns cannot own them legally just as most of those who kill others with guns cannot legally own them

What didn't you understand? There are fewer homicides with a gun than there are accidental shootings. You are more likely to be accidently shot, than killed by someone trying to kill you with a gun.

and I say what the fuck does that establish?

you also are more likely to stop a crime with a gun than you are to be accidentally shot

Are you saying they should have had an alarm system? You are probably right. Because guns are pretty useless when you are sleeping. The criminals would have got them though.

And how many people are injured in car accidents a year? Remind me how you want to ban cars.
