Anybody catch the jobs number this morning?

My tv exploded just before they announced the number. Obama said things are great...so I'm assuming the number is uuuuuuuuge!

Check CNBC.

I'm watching FOX business news....
The May jobs report is pretty shitty....

I wonder how many Libs here will come on and defend Obama?....
They will quote the 4.7 magic number and ignore the details.

yes, and ignore the 62% job force full time employment number.

What is the point of discussing all of this minutiae? The fact is, that the people of the United States have done a damn fine job of recovering from near economic collapse 8 years ago. We all (or at least most of us) worked together to make it happen, and this focus on the negative in order to make hardcore partisans somehow feel good (as screwed up as their thinking is) is corrosive to our nation. My God, we've created 14 million private sector jobs, when many people (again the hardcore partisans) fell all over themselves to predict (and many hoping) Obama would destroy the economy (like a President has that kind of power). You people are doing the equivalent of bashing a team that had one bad game after 7 years of wins "see, I told you they suck". It's just ridiculous.

this recovery is Oduma's bubble that will be hung around his neck, history will tell the tale. His addition of an average a trillion a year to the U.S. debt is the only thing creating this false sense of recovery. As Winston Churchhill once stated, spending your way out of a recession is like trying to bale out a sinking boat while standing in the bucket. the only numbers that truly matter is the less than 70% work force full time employment during his time as president.

You see, Ray, leftards want you to listen and watch leftard news because you need to be indoctrinated into leftardism.

Which is how they became so programmed into responding with Rush, Beck and Fox anytime somebody debates them on issues. It's like they are robots or something.

It cracks me up as to how leftards believe that they are the only holders of the truth and those that oppose their communist/socialist agenda are just being sticks in the mud and preventing them from attaining their commie utopia....tooo fuckin' funny.

It's NET "new jobs".....and YES, the Verizon strike reduced the number.....their return will be reflected in nexxt months report.....

Geez.....

A total of 40,000 went on strike. That doesn't mean they lost their jobs, it means they had replacements for most of those workers. You guys will try and make any excuse for your anointed one, won't you?

Ray,

You got the definition wrong....which means you have spent every year of your conscious existence labor under a gross delusion......think about what it says regarding your analysis of the state of the economy?

And I don't think you are on much stronger ground regarding your bold assertions about Verizon's employment of replacements.....in most of such cases, companies will press salaried employees into action...

And you've got Ray's endorsement.......which may not be worth all that much after his colossal blunder regarding the effect of the Verizon strike....

Level with me, Dale......how many hours every week do you spend listening to Rush (or some other radio huckster), watching FOX, or scanning Drudge?

Here we go again. If I had a five dollar bill every time some liberal brought up Fox, Limbaugh or Hannity...............

You see, Ray, leftards want you to listen and watch leftard news because you need to be indoctrinated into leftardism.

Here's a deal.....you stipulate to how much time you spend ogling Drudge, or any of the other Rube Aggregators, and I will tell you exactly how much time I spend with any list of 6 sources of "leftard news". Are we good?

Sure....

Now explain what facts support this bold assertion

the ground domestically with his mass importation of hundreds of thousands, if not millions more, of illegal aliens.

You could begin by explaining how a POTUS "mass importates" illegal aliens......

cause I have no problem demonstrating what makes Dale unfit for any function requiring deliberation...

I am infinitely smarter and more informed than you.

And you've got Ray's endorsement.......which may not be worth all that much after his colossal blunder regarding the effect of the Verizon strike....

Level with me, Dale......how many hours every week do you spend listening to Rush (or some other radio huckster), watching FOX, or scanning Drudge?[/QUOTE

I don't have a TV and haven't for 4 years and I shun talk radio..period. I download books, I listen and watch documentaries and lectures to the tune of over 16,000 hours....you?

And I bet you're going to deny having access to the internet as well.....

I know more than you and it seems to irk you quite a bit.

Dale,

You're dodging.......Let's start S-L-O-W-L-Y.

Do you have internet?

Do you appreciate the irony?

That would be a neat trick....

Care to show us what kind of math they taught you in the service, Gunny?

Even if it were the case (which it isn't) 35,000 + 35,000= 70,000 which would still be an awful jobs report.

Try again. From businessinsider-
"Hurwitz noted that even though there were 35,100 workers on strike, there may not be a one-to-one net effect on the headline payrolls gain. That's because when Verizon workers went on strike in August 2011, much of the drop in telecomms payrolls was offset by a rise in the temporary workers the company hired."

36,000 verizon workers out of a job screwed up the numbers .

But now they are back! Thanks unions !

No because those jobs were never considered lost in the first place. The number reported every month are for "new" jobs created. That's besides the fact Verizon had fill-in workers taking the place of many of those on strike.

Then he probably would have made a good candidate for a Democrat President.:badgrin::badgrin::badgrin:

The new cadre of replacements will be drawn from employees on special assignment and contractors currently enrolled or recently graduated from the company’s technical training program, the company said. Verizon also said about 1,000 strikers have returned to work since the strike began on April 13.

I don't spend ANY time on Drudge's website and what do you consider "Rube Aggregators"???? Anything that doesn't push the leftard clown posse agenda? Youtube has thousands upon thousands of lectures and documentaries from accredited researchers and authors like Antony Sutton, interviews with former KGB agents that defected like Yuri Bezmenov. Listened to an incredible interview with Major George Jordan that kept a detailed account of how USA.INC opened up the patent office to the commies and actually gave them printing plates so they could print currency. Yeah, you could say that I would make "mince meat" out of you in a debate as to what is really going on. It's fucking SICKENING and it's worse than you could even fathom. I download books like "None Dare Call It A Conspiracy" b y Gary Allen, "Confessions Of An Economic Hitman" by John Perkins, "Pawns In The Game" by William Guy Carr, Tragedy and Hope" by Carroll Quigley, etc, etc......what about you? What was the last book YOU read? I have done the work and put in the effort to know what I know so I'll be damned if I will "pussyfoot" around with some piker like you....get it???

Why would you kick LTCArmyRet when he is down?

No, better to kick you when you're down.

The labor participation rate hasn't been this low since 1979, yet we hear of all these wonderful things DumBama has done for the economy. Or is it this low because of the Verizon strike???:banana::banana::banana:
