You are half right. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the War on Poverty were followed by five years of black ghetto riots, and more enduring increases in black social pathology, especially black illegitimacy. Black crime was only curbed by tripling the prison population.

During the 1980's Republican tax cuts for the rich caused the national debt as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) to rise from 32% during President Carter's last year in office to 129% during Trump's last year in office.

The U.S. national debt was over $31 trillion in 2022. In 1930, it was just $16 billion. The biggest impacts have been defense spending, recessions, and recently, the pandemic.

Most people on welfare are only on it for a few years.
Most people are worthless and useless despite the circumstances of their birth. We are all going to die and most of us will be forgotten.

That said, we can try to fix the dangerous part by addressing the racial and economic inequities in this society.

prosecuted----not a whole lot but some. The situation has NOT BEEN
HANDLED INTELLIGENTLY
