The USA belongs to the UK since it’s act of rebellion in 1776 was illegal so it legally still belongs to the UK. At the same time since the UK sent all it’s gold reserves to the US the UK belongs to the USA. But since British companies invest so heavily in US property the USA belongs to the USA. But since the US armed forces are more powerful than any other in the world, and most of the time the UK agrees with the actions the US take and commits the British armed forces to join the actions of the US forces, the UK belongs to the USA.
