Aren't republicans the true moochers in this country by their disdain for paying taxes?

Apparently they expect the government to pay for everything for them. Is it that they are too dumb to realize revenue pays for our military, public schools and highways etc.?

The newest republican tax cut proposal would add 440 billion to our national debt. More proof republicans don't give a shit about the issue

The Republican Party s top priority is to raise taxes on the poor. Literally.

A battle over taxes divides Democrats. More to come - The Washington Post
Your tax dollars pay for senseless deadly costly wars, subsidies to big oil and rich farmers, supplying weapons to drug lords and terrorists, building mosques on foreign soil, the care and support for illegal immigrants, ridiculous perks and benefits for members of Congress, wasteful spending such as the worthless fence along our southern border, foreign aid ( give-aways to foreign governments ), no-bid government contracts ( Halliburton ), exploring the far reaches of the universe, looking for water on the surface of Mars, the excessive number of U.S. military bases on foreign soil, Wall Street bailouts, lavish White House parties, Ms. Obama's lavish vacations, ships and planes the military doesn't need nor want, subsidies to Brazilian corn crops, protecting the opium crops in Afghanistan, bribes paid to North Korea and Iran, interest on our astronomical and rising national debt, cell phones and internet access for poor and less fortunate citizens, and unnecessary government travel.

so again, you have no facts, because sir you presented none. I gave you one, and it was to show where the real disengeniune comes from. The Democrats in charge. Look up Illinois pensions!! You won't see one rich dude listed. so please give me your fact sheet. BTW, you haven't yet.
You gave me a fact? In which post did this miracle occur?
Post # 165 and post # 167. Here again, the theives are the Democrats, again, pull up Illinois union pensions. All controlled by the Democrats, not rich people, unless of course you're grouping the Dems as rich? I guess that could be, but I'd put them in a different bucket.
Ok, here's what I was talking about: Looting the Pension Funds How Wall Street Robs Public Workers Rolling Stone

Also, since you seem sincere, here are the graphs I was referring to:
productivity-and-real-wages.jpg

growth-in-income-inequality1.jpg

See if you can process these two bits of information and come to a conclusion.

Well, since I have no idea where the graphs came from, not sure what data it represents to the claim you made about the 1% being thieves. Also the link you provided, is the same information that I stated for the state of Illinois, except is for Rhode Island. Now again, I don't know how wall street and the 1% have anything whatsoever to do with public pensions.
Because what should have been kept in a very stable fund was used for casino-style gambling - and it went bad.
still not seeing any mention of 1% getting wealthier. So I've asked and you provided info that has nothing whatsoever to do with your original statement. So, again, the lefties spouting off with no facts.None. Just like that experiment that shows what 120 PPM of CO2 does to temperatures.

You gave me a fact? In which post did this miracle occur?

That was mind numbingly stupid. You didnt bother to respond. Your reponse doesnt address the issue. The response doesnt support whatever it is you've been saying. The response is untrue. ANd even if it were true the response is irrelevant.

You're talking about a government pension fund, once again.
What's your point, that it didn't happen?

Are you blind or just dumb. The graph is right in front of you.

About a foot altogether in Warsaw and downtown Buffalo...but 5 miles away- 7 FEET in 36 hours! Got mud? Longtime GF fell walking the dog and broke 3 ribs just before moving and is an insane patient. But had a raft of other crap too. Her apt was a total scam and her apt manager was a true psycho. Coming in, hid her keys, broke her insulin pens INSANITY running rampant. OH boy- got her out here to recover. Hope things are getting better for you and yours.
dam Frankie....the manager did that?.....geezus....the guy sounds like a psycho.....7 feet!!.....i remember days like that Frankie.....and i never want to see them again....lol.....things are getting better for me i think....lol.....hope you are doing well and hope your gal is doing better.....get her out of that apt Frankie.....
Got her out Dec 1. The manager was a cute young girl lived next door. Every time GF went out, she'd go in. Crazy...

so like everything else you all post, you have no facts to support your claim. How righteous of you!!! So name some names of people who have lost retirement? I know the teachers union in Illinois, but that would be because of democrats in the state house and governer. Hmmmmm still no evidence from you on rich people.
Are you one of the few people who hasn't already seen the productivity versus wage graph? Or the graph that shows the rate of increase of wealthy versus average wealth over time? My experience has been that facts bounce off the heads of people like you like peas fired from a straw. I've presented facts countless times before. At this point, it's only when I sense I'm speaking with someone who might take them seriously that I'll go to the trouble.

BTW, your posts seem to be quite devoid of anything besides your own ramblings. Aren't you being a tad hypocritical?

Ok ... I processed these two bits of information, and concluded you don't know what the hell you're talking about. That IS what you wanted me to realize, right?

These charts are so loaded, so inaccurate, so incomplete, they are worthless as data comparisons .... can you, by any chance, show us the impact of automation? Perhaps, you can show us the impact of taxes on wages? How about a comparison of new and small businesses (which would fall outside your 'major sector' nonsense)? Maybe you can do a comparison of taxes paid vs. income, or maybe the impact of increases in government handouts? How about including service industry jobs?

See? The data you present is worthless.

To be a mooch you actually have to mooch something. The rich pay their taxes, so calling them "mooches" is pure slander.

Furthermore, the rich generally don't use government services. They put their children in private schools and they have their own private security.

Your claim is simply a bald faced lie.

Well, that's bullshit. If they use a road, a bridge, a bank, a car, an airplane, or a telephone, a television, drink city water, protected by the police and fire department services, or the military, or have their trash hauled away, they are, directly or indirectly, using government services. Are there any other stupid right wing comments you care to make?

Our trash haulers are private.

The guys who build our roads are private companies working off government contracts. I could do a better job issuing the contract than the government and would get it built better for less.

Police and Fire.....local entities....

Military....I "use" the military ?

Aren't republicans the true moochers in this country by their disdain for paying taxes?

Sure, if one considers one or both of the following to be factual:

1) Only Repubs have disdain for paying taxes. Everyone else loves it.
2) Only Repubs attempt to minimize their tax liability (and that somehow makes them "moochers") because, as already noted, everyone else loves to pay taxes.

Billy, mostly you are just a pathetically whiny, sniveling loony leftist but the rest of the time you are monumentally STUPID (and I mean that with all due respect).

Horseshit. Using a bank, telephone, a television, drinking water and fire protection don't require the use of government services. I assume using a road and a car cover the same thing, using government built roads, but there's no reason roads can't be private. In fact, most roads in residential areas are private. Trash service is often provided by private companies. Airports are city owned, but there are private airports, and there's no reason all airports can't be privately owned.

Furthermore, the question was whether the rich benefit from government services, not whether they use them. For the most part, they don't use them. The ones they do use they pay far too much for to receive inferior service. In other words, they don't benefit from government services. They suffer, as we all do, from so-called government services.

Not all trash haulers are private. Whether or not private companies are building roads is irrelevant to the fact that it is the government who pays to have the roads built. But hey, since you claim to be able to do better, then perhaps you should start your own government and write up the contracts (and pay for them) yourself. it would save the rest of us a hell of a lot of money.

The military protects you and your family, dufus. You didn't know this? huh.

It is statements like these that lead me to say that people like you should move to another country that enjoys having idiots for patriots. Banks are insured by the government. The government makes the money. Telephone service is regulated by the government. Nearly every water company and fire department in the country is a government service, dufus.

1) there is every reason why the roads are primarily publically owned. First, to ensure everyone access to them. Secondly, to ensure that they are adequately maintained. if you think a private corporation can and will maintain our roads, I have a bridge I can sell you for a song.

You are the guy who walked in here with spurious data, tried to pass it off as a proof, thinking we would be all impressed with the really cool colors and lines, had the temerity to tell us to process it, and then when challenged intellectually, try to run and hide.

And, now, you want ME to do your work for you??? I don't think so ...

Government contracts are paid for by taxes. You bet, I'd be able to do better. Why do I need a new government ? But if I did start one...it would be very small. And why would I pay for them myself. I'd just have 4 wheel drive. If a bunch of us wanted a new road...we could do it ourselves.

In todays world, if city hall even allowed it, they subject you to all kinds of meaningless codes and regulations (that I am sure you've kidded yourself into believing somehow improve the quality of life). If they just gave me the final specs...I'd kick their asses.

Horseshit. Using a bank, telephone, a television, drinking water and fire protection don't require the use of government services.

It is statements like these that lead me to say that people like you should move to another country that enjoys having idiots for patriots. Banks are insured by the government. The government makes the money. Telephone service is regulated by the government. Nearly every water company and fire department in the country is a government service, dufus.

I assume using a road and a car cover the same thing, using government built roads, but there's no reason roads can't be private. In fact, most roads in residential areas are private. Trash service is often provided by private companies. Airports are city owned, but there are private airports, and there's no reason all airports can't be privately owned.

1) there is every reason why the roads are primarily publically owned. First, to ensure everyone access to them. Secondly, to ensure that they are adequately maintained. if you think a private corporation can and will maintain our roads, I have a bridge I can sell you for a song.

Furthermore, the question was whether the rich benefit from government services, not whether they use them. For the most part, they don't use them. The ones they do use they pay far too much for to receive inferior service. In other words, they don't benefit from government services. They suffer, as we all do, from so-called government services.

If they use them, they benefit from them. We all use them whether we realize it or not. Britpatnut, you really should ask for a refund on your education, because - damn.

Actually, it is looking more and more like your parents were ripped off.
