At Yale there is now a 1:1 ratio of undergraduate students to administrators. Mind-boggling.

Let me guess...yearly tuition is close to 100,000 USD...and they still cry poverty when it comes to fixing up their campus and rely on donations from corporate/government sponsors.

The Ivy's are exclusive private clubs that the wealthiest people in the world will pay anything to get their offspring in the door. That is why they continually jack up the price of admission. Application rates and tuition are at all time highs while admission rates are at all time lows. That's how they can afford to keep hiring more staff.

"By contrast, administrators noted much of this increase can be attributed to growing numbers of medical staff..."

No surprises there and that isn't necessarily a bad thing
