Baltimore Is A Democrat Mess They're Trying To Blame On The Cops

And if you think the Police lie more than the average criminal taking part in the legal system then you're about as stupid as it gets!

You really believe cops are all super heroes? Here's a clue, just because a cop arrests someone, doesn't make them a criminal. That is decided by the courts.
Here's another clue, many cops have a superiority complex.

How did my pointing out that the average criminal lies FAR more than the average Police officer somehow morph into my believing that cops are all super heroes?

Many average citizens have superiority complexes as well...what's your point?
Some cops think they can get away with murder.

Some cops think they can get away with murder.

Some people think the same thing...again...what's your point?

Here's a clue for you...there are always going to be some bad cops...just as there will always be some bad politicians...some bad sports stars...some bad teachers...some bad priests.

Overall the Police do a great job and get little credit for having to deal with the worst that Society has in it.

You talk about "superheroes"? The closest thing we have to superheroes in this world are the people who run towards danger instead of away from it. Many of those people are Cops.

Anyone with a 12" carving knife is scary...especially the ones with mental issues. The officer used bean bag rounds instead of live ammunition because they didn't want to kill that old man. I suppose you would have had the Police just leave and let the nursing home folks deal with him? Unfortunately that's not the way things work.

He didn't have a knife. Cops lie. Cops are the lyingest motherfuckers in the Court system.

Staff said he didn't have a knife and if you'd use what little tiny bit of brain matter you have left, you'd wonder what THE FUCK was Wrana doing with a 12" fucking Butcher knife in his room at a FUCKING Nursing home.

Even if he did have a knife (HIGHLY debatable) there were between 5 and 7 Cops there with Riot Shields against a wobbly 95 year-old man and his walker, not Jason Borne

Fuck you. Seriously. Fuck you in the fucking ass.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be a Conservative when I run into STUPID fucks like you.

If I didn't hate the scum of the fucking earth dimocrap party so much..........

Fucken 'A'

What we're seeing in Baltimore was an example of urban decay from decades of liberal progressive policies.

Political philosophies don't enter into managing a local level government. There's nothing "right" or "left" about whether the trash gets picked up on Tuesday versus Wednesday.

It's stupefying that you partisan hacknoids just keep running the same play thinking it will work this time.

Urban issues are sociocultural -- not political. You clowns continually running this noise generator in this juvenile political football game scoreboard are just prolonging the problems and feeding division.
In their quest to find an explanation for the troubles that inevitably follow hyper aggressive police tactics, the head in the sand wing of the Radical Right will ignore the actual problems of police tactics and economic opportunity and seek to blame the victims. If we must rely on help from the ostrich wing of the Tea P0arty, we can never solve anything.

Oh for God's sake! "Hyper aggressive police tactics"? The problem in those neighborhoods isn't the Police! The Police are simply the people who are stuck trying to deal with the results of sixty years of liberal policies. Baltimore, Maryland isn't what it is today because of the "Radical Right"...it's what it is because of the policies of the "Misguided Left"! You people HAVE to blame someone because if you DON'T then you have to admit that your own agenda has been a miserable failure!
It's not politics. It's police gone wild. I'm sorry that an apolitical problem jams your gears, but the blame lays at the precinct door, no the contentious realm of partisan politics

How do you blame right wing politics on conditions in a city that has been exclusively run by left wing Democrats for the better part of sixty years? Seriously...how do you even ATTEMPT that?
I'm not blaming this on politics and neither should you! I'm blaming this on hyper aggressive police tactics.

Oh if it were as simple as partisan would have us believe. But every problem in America cannot fall exclusively on the altar of politics.

In this case it's pure politics.

Cops are told which laws they have to enforce....then are told not to enforce them....even accused and indicted for crimes when they do. The cops are on the front lines dealing with the scum of society every day. It starts to wear on you eventually. I have met very few that didn't develop a bad attitude from dealing with liquor swilling drug addicts spitting and attacking them for doing their jobs.

Now we have a POS president that automatically sides with criminals or his friends against the cops...even before he hears any evidence.

You have a rather strange take on how things work, Nosmo! The Police do not set policy...nor do they make the laws. Policies ARE what politicians do. To say that failures of bad policy is anyone's fault other than the people who CREATED those bad policies is a stretch.

The police definitely set policy for standard operating procedures within the department. If they don't, then how can the police be policed?

I think you're looking for the typical scapegoat when you blame police behavior on a political agenda. Not every problem in this nation is attributable to politics. Some problems are systemic within institutions regardless of political influence.

Is it just easier to think at BAD=LIBERAL in your world? Could there be problems that were created without the stain of partisanship?

Police departments do have "standard operating procedures", Nosmo but that hardly means that THEY determine policy! When the Baltimore Police didn't resist looting during the first night of the riots it wasn't because that was their standard operating procedure...they didn't resist looting because they had a stand down order that was given to them by the Mayor of Baltimore. Politicians make policy and the laws. Police forces simply attempt to implement those policies and enforce those laws.

As for what created the problems in Baltimore? Listen...when one political party has overwhelmingly controlled a city for over six DECADES...it's hard to understand how you can blame what's wrong with that city on anyone else BUT that political party! I'm sorry but the Democrats OWN the problems in Baltimore because the Democrats have OWNED that city for nearly three generations!

No Republican, and certainly no conservative, has left so much as a thumbprint on the public institutions of Baltimore in a generation. This is entirely a left-wing project, and a Democratic-party project.”

The Real Freddie Gray

"Freddie Gray had an extensive criminal record, and this was well known to police officers in the community. He was, in short, known to engage in unlawful criminal activity with a frequency that would in any other context be considered evidence of a notable work ethic. He had at least 18 arrests in the ~8 years between 2007 and his death in 2015 -- and it is worth keeping in mind that the only reason his arrest record here begins in only in 2007 is that prior arrests would be sealed as juvenile records.

It is also notable that although Gray’s early arrests were apparently confined to drug offenses, in later years he began to be charged with acts of violence, including several charges on differing dates of second-degree assault, as well as burglary.

In addition, the neighborhood where the arrest occurred is known more generally for being a high-crime area, and so the police would be expected to be particularly attuned for indications of criminal conduct.

In this context the police observe well-known criminal Gray acting in a manner that they perceive as noteworthy. The police begin to approach Gray, a form of police conduct that requires no particular legal justification at least until an actual interaction has begun. Observing the police approach, Gray substantially increases the suspiciousness of his conduct by fleeing the officers."

I see that picture and I think if there were National Guard with arresting powers, those thugs could be spending a year in jail and paying the city back for the cost of the car they mutilated. Once they get out, they would be on parole and forced to work for the city where a quarter of their salary goes to reimburse the cost of the police car.

Maybe then, the thugs would think twice about their involvement in the destruction of a city and looting. Hopefully, the would just begin to think.

I'm not deaf; I didn't ask for the same lame parroted talking point to be restated over and over and over.

What I'm asking, what none of you parrots can answer, is HOW that works. Explain the differences in style between a Republican mayor and a Democrat mayor ordering the snowplows out to the streets.

I'm asking, quit lip-synching the lyrics over and over and actually prove this theory.. And you can't do it. Guess what that means.

Democrats are the 100% of the political power structure in Baltimore. All policy decisions affecting the citizens of Baltimore are the responsibility of the Democrat power structure. Period. That means schools, police, infrastructure, economic development and all the rest.

And news flash.....Baltimore is a shit hole. Ditto many other major U.S. cities the Democrats have controlled for decades. The polices don't fucking work. Own it.

Oh horseshit. Desperate lunging to salvage the bullshit this thread is based on ain't flying.

Go ahead -- essplain to us all how Republicans run cities differently from Democrats.
This oughta be good....
Well, it will certainly be idiotic and wrong.

I'm still expecting more along the lines of "nonexistent". They'll do what they usually do -- run away.

The mess in Baltimore is top to bottom a Democrat invention they're trying to pawn off on the police.

Riot-Plagued Baltimore Is a Catastrophe Entirely of the Democratic Party s Own Making National Review Online

"Democrats rule urban cesspools and have for decades.

No Republican, and certainly no conservative, has left so much as a thumbprint on the public institutions of Baltimore in a generation. Baltimore’s police department is, like Detroit’s economy and Atlanta’s schools, the product of the progressive wing of the Democratic party enabled in no small part by black identity politics.

Bullshit. Democrats completely control Baltimore and have done so for 50 years. The problems in Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago and other urban cesspools are 100% at the feet of Democrat political "leadership" in those cities.

How is it y'all of the parrot mindset figure you can just mouth the same words over and over and that makes it a theory?
I'm not deaf; I didn't ask for the same lame parroted talking point to be restated over and over and over.

What I'm asking, what none of you parrots can answer, is HOW that works. Explain the differences in style between a Republican mayor and a Democrat mayor ordering the snowplows out to the streets.

I'm asking, quit lip-synching the lyrics over and over and actually prove this theory.. And you can't do it. Guess what that means.

And voilà, you just repeated the same pattern again for the 53rd time.
Can't defend the premise -- guess what that means.

(Watch him repeat the same thing again now... it's like arguing with frickin' Pee Wee Herman)
