Bannon, formerly a Chief Strategist and Counselor to the President, has been a private citizen since departing the White House in 2017. He was indicted on the contempt charges on Nov. 12, 2021.

Bannon is to be sentenced on Oct. 21, 2022. Each count of contempt of Congress carries a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of one year in jail, as well as a fine of $100 to $100,000. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Let's us hope that the Federal Probation Officer recommends the highest penalties, along with Probation of ten years after this jerk spends one two years (one year for each offense) and $200,000.

Not only is he a jerk he is an example for others awaiting for their indictments and trials. They would be smart to plead guilty and to get a lesser sentence, say 60 days in custody and the maximum fine.

Congress is contemptible for lying about Trump one more time for Patriotic Americans accepting a Capitol Cop's invitation for them to walk right in to the Capitol building,, but since Pelosi has all power to continue deceptive and false charges, so Steve Bannon may well be treated harshly for refusing to allow the Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch exercise power over confidential matters in the Executive Branch that he worked in and had knowledge of. Russia's Stalin followed suit with what some say was also 100 million Russians, but historians who did not wish to be on Stalin's hit list wrote the fantasy that he only killed 20,000,000 to achieve dominance in the landwise largest country in the world, the Union of Soviet Socialists Republic, aka USSR when I was in school.
