Kinda think that is where we are at right now! That is what draining the swamp is all about. Some might have thought Trump was a lesser of two evils, but that is only because everyone still sees him only through the filter of a hostile media. His biggest fault and liability is EXACTLY that he is /not/ of the political class! As a politician, he is kind of sucky. He has none of the polished skills of a true politician: bad hair, never smiles (actually looks serious most of the time), doesn't kiss ass and is a very poor public speaker. All he has left going for him is taking the right position on issues and KEEPING HIS WORD. So far in the first 100 days he has pretty much scored in the 98th percentile as far as doing what he said.

When Obama ran in 2008, taking over and socializing healthcare was never even mentioned. In fact, if you check back, there was very little correlation between what Obama promised and what he actually DID.

I read that he actually won by something like 80K votes in three states, which tipped the electoral college.
