The occupation of the headquarters of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, Oregon by a small group of armed protesters represents a new and confrontational tactic in the Sagebrush Rebellion–the decades old struggle of Western ranchers against federal control of state lands. You do realize that the land where that sanctuary is was BOUGHT over 100 years ago by the US federal government don't you?

He had the federal government BUY that land from those who owned it which is what the constitution requires.

Where are the forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings in Oregon?

That is not the Article and section that that is relevant. The land in question was was not and is not land purchased by a state legislature for forts, magazines, dockyards, etc.
The relevant Article is Article 4 Section 3 Claus 2. How could you be so ill informed not to know this? It has been in the news for almost a month. Do you only read propagandized radical traitor rebel crap or what?

The problem I have with your labeling of "terrorist" is that it's quickly becoming a new buzz word for people to use towards anyone acting out in matter they don't like. What ISIS does is terrorism. What Timothy McVeigh was terrorism. What these guys did in Oregon, while illegal, hardly comes close to that. "Terrorism" is going to become the new "racist" where it is over and inappropriately used and will no longer have any worthwhile meaning.

Anyone who wished or needed to visit the refuge was threatened or intimidated into not doing so. Federal employees, whether refuge employees or federal agents were threatened and intimidated by armed persons who suggested aggressive, violent and hostile repercussions for doing their lawful jobs. The weapons combined with verbal intentions are what made their actions terrorist acts.
Terrorism has a legal definition. It is not a buzz word. Intimidation with the use of a weapon infers a terrorist act.

I think he's contending the anti-fed govt guys don't get fair treatment in federal court. And, the reality is they will lose because there's really no open legal question.
