Nazi was not their proper name. It was an acronym. The proper name was the National Socialist German Workers Party, They were socialists and politically left. The Nazis have more in common with today's socialists, like obama, than today's right. American socialists still believe in a Master Race, it's just a non-white race. The left still demonizes Jews. The difference is American socialists aren't Aryan. The left, like the Nazis firmly support a centralized government with little autonomy. But, more than anything, what the American left has most in common with Nazis is the cult of personality surrounding the dear leader. The father, the papa, the worship and loyalty to the one man, the Nazis had Hitler, the left has obama.

The Nazis went after Unions only to bring them into the ranks of the State Union.

They went after communists because communists were a different kind of socialist.

There has never been, and can never be, a communist State. communism has more in common with Libertarianism than it does with socialism.

Shi'te Muslims hate Sunni Muslims. Hate 'em. They butcher each other all the time.

Catholics and Protestants killed each other by the hundred thousand in the old days. Still aren't crazy about each other in Old Europe.

They didn't go after all the unions, just the unions that had no interest in fighting for socialism. They went after the TRADE unions. Because those unions supported unionization not socialism.

Back to the original situation.

The Olympics are not about any one person. Not about one's sexuality. Not about one's heritage. Not about the country they come from or their countries policies.

They are the Games of Champions.

Every athlete who runs to the flame is an Olympian and is a Champion. They have defeated all around them in their region in whatever sport and have now reached the pinnacle of all they have worked for.

This is the greatest show on earth with people who have travelled so many hard earned miles to make it to the flame.

Those who would turn this into a spectacle of any thing other than the beauty of sport are despicable.

The Olympics has already lost its meaning and purpose. Not worth the time or money to host, to visit, or to even watch on TV.
