Not a great basis for an opinion but this IS still America and you're STILL entitled to it. For now.

Myself, I ranked Obama as ever-so-slightly to the left of McCain based on their records. It might have come down to choosing the lesser of evils but since I'm not big fan of evil, I voted for neither.

In retrospect, based entirely on performance, if I had to do it again I'd vote for McCain over Obama based, once again, entirely on their records. What would have been great would have Cain vs. Obama but liberals couldn't allow that to happen. They'd loose their rallying cry of "You're Racist If You Don't Vote for Obama" - and they might have lost. The first time around. Had Round 2 been between the same pair? Give us a good laugh and tell us He would not now be "Your FORMER New Messiah".

Blacks that voted for Obama because he is 1/2 black...are the racists.

Many of them supposedly attend black churches yet support a secular goon like Obama that supports abortion which is wiping out millions of blacks, now supports "gay marriage" after getting re-elected and no longer needing to face voters again, etc.

Many blacks didn't look into his past hanging out with white socialists and anarchists, he is not your typical "black person." He grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii.....he has more Asian roots than black roots. Oh, but they saw his face and voted for him....because they are racists.

Can you acknowledge the fact that a significant number of those on the right are indeed hostile to the president as a consequence of his race, where the election of an African-American president very much represents the change many conservatives fear.

They do not constitute the majority, nor are they representative of the GOP as a whole, but for many on the right, at some level, a black president does challenge long-held social and cultural beliefs.
