Yes it is. But capitalism is not a political theory. Comparing the two is worse than comparing apples and oranges. At least they are both foods.

Communism is flawed on many levels. Communism is like a farm. The owners of the farm pass ownership and authority on down to the next generations with no open challenges for better ways by better candidates to lead as is the working theory behind democracy. Comunism always ends up with too much power and influence in the hands of it's leaders. It doesn't even really work mathmatically but it's worst attribute is that it crushes the human spirit. It removes invention and hope in it's purest form and replaces it with directives to only solve problems and enforce loyalty.

Pure capitalism is also flawed on many levels. It is not a method of governance. It is a way, a means to accumulate individual and societal wealth. Capitalism respects and values nothing but opportunity and gaming opportunity any way possible to take and consume as much as possible. That is a foolish way to operate a society.
