CBS: You were basically handed the nomination. No primary process. No votes. That's not how our system was intended to work.

How political parties choose to pick their candidates is not “part of our system”

What about that don’t you get?
Ummmmm, in a "democratic" government system it sure as hell is.

There was a fox news debate?

The moderators didn’t make Trump tell lie after lie about cats being eaten. The moderators didn’t make him double down on the lie that he won the 2020 election.
And what do you know, Trump didn't.

But you clods did.

She's so incredibly stupid, I can't stand it.
I don’t even see how she made it through university with a degree in Economics or scored high enough on her LSAT to get into law school.

Another poster child for Affirmative Action. She’d be a nothing if she a) were white, and b) kept her big mouth closed around Willie Brown.

A political party’s nomination process is not a part of the legal or constitutional election process. All parties are free to choose their candidates however they want.

And a brokered convention, like we had to nominate Harris, is an established part of the party’s own rules and has happened before

Why can’t you people get that? Why do you keep equating party nominations with the actual election process? Is it a lack of education or what?
Perhaps it was the lies that made Joe a candidate in 2020 from the start. The lies that smoothed over his mental decline until they used him for all they got. Watching no one at is rallies and yet somehow got all of those votes and the last-minute shenanigans.

Actually, they fast-tracked the debate to June so they would reveal to voters - after having hidden it for months - just how demented Biden was without his temporary medication, and they would have support for ousting him.
Sounds kind of complicated. You’re overthinking it!

Why else would the Dems ask for a June debate, even before the conventions? They knew they had a loser on their hands and wanted support for when Obama, Pelosi, et al kicked him to the curb.

Then it was a good idea. Switch made, no muss, no fuss and no outrage from Democrats, only MAGA…

Trump asked for a debate in April. The two camps ultimately agreed on June.

You should know your facts before you spew your bullshit.

And yall think Trump made it into Wharton based on merits?

Get out.

Yes, and he proved it by his brilliant career in which he made billions. Few can do that. Harris has accomplished nothing.
Oh sure. Did it all on his own. He never got any help from his filthy rich dad. Total meritocracy.

Right? That’s what they tell you to believe.

Trumps daddy had to keep funding, and bailing out Donalds business ventures. Like when he gave Trumps Atlantic City cassino an illegal $2 million loan.

And now he’s reduced to hawking shitty watches, trading cards and bibles.

Wow!

CBS went there. Harris must really be hemorrhaging voters. She lost more after this disaster interview. IM2

How many primaries did Stein and RFK Jr win, to secure their nominations?

Easy answer.

Primaries are for the party leaders to gauge viability of candidates.
