Whether born that way or by choice, why shouldn't gays be allowed to marry the person they love?
Because a majority gets to decide who rises to their acme of socially-acceptable marriage; and a minority of behaviors DO NOT. The majority has said "between a man and a woman". That means that the behaviors [or even status in the case of minors] of gay, lesbian, polygamist or incest or under-aged do not qualify for the standards the majority has set for itself. That's why. That's because people who erroneously label themselves with the name of the deviant sexual behavior they pracitice, "gays" and "lesbians" live in a democracy with majority rule. If they want to move to socialist Sweden or some such then as I understand it, they can now marry polygamist gay or what have you. That's not how we do things in the US when it comes to regulating human behaviors. The majority has to agree or disagree for a behavior to be legal or illegal. It's different from fascism or socialism or communism.
