It is worth observing that the Left desires to have as many people as possible fit into the broad category of "the Oppressed." They have therefore expanded the definition of "People of Color" beyond all logic, in the hope that all the people they include will consider themselves to be "oppressed," and join the Democrat party, or at least vote for it.
The more relevant inquiry is, what people in this country are prevented from accomplishing what their talents warrant because of their gender, ethnicity, sexual irregularity, native language, or the color of their skin - assuming it is not "white"?
Almost nobody.
Your female relatives are, for all practical purposes, White.
