CNN host calls Trump 'A piece of shit!'

I guess even CNN wants SOME credibility

CNN has parted ways with controversial host Reza Aslan one week after Aslan called President Trump "a piece of s---" and "an embarrassment to mankind" on Twitter
CNN severs ties with host who called Trump 'a piece of s---'

CNN is, as they say in Intensive Care lingo, "circling the drain". Ted Turner doesn't care to stop the bleeding of credibility because they're are no serious journalists available to CON or BRIBE into coming aboard that crazy train.

The wheels are off. The brakes are shot and the mgt is gunning the engine over the cliff.

Gotta give em credit for trying........of course it's feeble and much too late to save that sinking ship

Amazing watching these people completely lose control like this.
I imagine this conversation.1938 Germany Mac - "Amazing watching these people lose control like this. What happened to that guy, anyway?"1938 someone else, 'Hey, look at this neat new lampshade I picked up!"

The only reason why Hitler happened, is because a lot of reasonable people (including my relatives, unfortunately) went along with it.

Not this time.

Yes it is although sometimes it's hard to tell if people are actually losing control or just seeking attention/trying to be "edgy". We all watched the RWNJs lose it for 8 years under Obama and now we're watching the LWLs lose it under a Republican government.

Likewise, the only reason why Stalin happened, is because a lot of reasonable people went along with it. Socialism. Not on my watch. :)

YES.

That's PRECISELY what interests me so much about partisan politics. As closely as I observe the behaviors, I'm still not sure about the motivations.

Right now I believe that what we see is the power of ideology. I think it's entirely possible that people on both ends are essentially able to talk themselves into pretty much anything instantly. So when they say this absolutely ridiculous stuff, they really are believing it, at least on a conscious level.

This stuff is absolutely fascinating to me.

Savage says he's sorry -- but stays fired / Talk show host insists epithets not aimed at people with AIDS

Michael Savage, the outrageous talk show host who was fired from MSNBC on Monday for telling a caller to "get AIDS and die," fought back Tuesday, saying he was reacting to a crank caller.

Savage, the most successful radio host ever to emerge from the Bay Area, said his controversial comments were aimed only at the caller, and that he thought he was off the air when he said them. He also blasted MSNBC for criticizing him.

"I'm sitting in front of the camera. I have no control over that," Savage said. "In radio, I have total control. . . . He got really vile with me . . . I meant to insult him personally, not all people with AIDS."
