Collusion is an agreement between two or more parties, sometimes illegal and therefore secretive, to limit open competition by deceiving, misleading, or defrauding others of their legal rights, or to obtain an objective forbidden by law typically by defrauding or gaining an unfair market advantage.

What Is Collusion? Is It Even a Crime?
‘Stop using “collusion” as a short-hand for criminality’
"Paul Rosenzweig is former deputy assistant secretary for policy at the Department of Homeland Security, founder of Red Branch Consulting and a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation.
Collusion is not a federal crime (except in the unique case of antitrust law), so we should all just stop using “collusion” as a short-hand for criminality. But that doesn’t mean that the alleged cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russia is of no criminal interest. To the contrary, if true, it may have violated any number of criminal prohibitions.
For example, if Donald Trump Jr. sought “dirt” on Hillary Clinton from the Russians, he might be charged with conspiring to violate the election laws of the United States, which prohibit foreign nationals from contributing any “thing of value” to an electoral campaign."
If Trump Jr is investigated and charged with this crime then members of the DNC / Hillary’s campaign who purchased false information (Trump Dossier) from foreign agents (ex-MI6 operative) whose source was a member of Putin’s inner council would also have to be charged.
In Trump Jr’s case, however, the lawyer had no connection with the Russian govt, the Russian govt does not know her, and the lawyer has stated she did not have anything Trump Jr wanted, so no information ever exchanged hands….meaning no crime was committed…unlike with the Democrats and the Trump Dossier. In the end, the only ones who seemed to have broken the law is, once again, the Democrats.
