Statues are expressions of honor. I do not want people to have to walk past an honor to someone that fought to keep their ancestors in slavery as they go pay their taxes.

So why don't we honor the people who American loyalists in New England -- they were fighting in the name of "their states" too...the governor of Massachusetts was a loyalist -- I don't recall any statues being erected in his honor...do you know why??
