For the record, the cited portion of the 25th Amendment does not provide for permanent removal of the President by this method. It only provides for temporary transfer of power in the event of the President being incapacitated. If one bothers to read the entire Amendment - which Time's reporter obviously didn't - it continues by explaining how the power is subsequently transferred back when the President is no longer incapacitated.

And since the provisions specify cooperation from people who are, by definition, going to be political allies of the President and members of his own party, these provisions in the Amendment are obviously intended to be used only in real and grave extremis.
