In an interview with USA Today Washington bureau chief Susan Page for the Aspen Institute, Will went further than his 2016 non-endorsement of President Trump and said that he would vote for Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee. Will warned against Trump's nomination in 2016 but stopped short of endorsing his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, at the time.

"Who do you plan to vote for in November?" Page asked the columnist via Zoom.

"Biden," Will replied immediately.

If he is voting for biden, he isn't a conservative........no conservative would vote for biden and the democrats.....and Will....who spent his life condemning the left wingers and biden...now votes for them? He is either insane, or was faking it the rest of the time...

An American patriot would. Apparently the OP is too complicated for you to comprehend. Many conservative Republican patriot are suspending their political beliefs - to get rid of Trump and return our democracy to normal.

Apparently, you missed a big part of this. The idea of the Lincoln Project isn't just to force President Trump out, but also to remove the Republicans from the House and Senate as well as Supreme Court to give Sleepy Joe a blank check. If it was just to remove one supposed miscreant, The Donald, but to continue to fight and vanquish liberalism, I'd say it was misguided but could still be considered "conservative" in a way.

The Republican Party isn't the "trump mafia" at all. In fact, most Establishment Republicans really dislike President Trump.

Most of the folks in Congress-even on the R side- don't care for the outsider Trump. Why would you get rid of them, as they would be the opposition to Biden's extremism?

Not surprised. I've always respected George Will, even though I don't always agree - he writes well, and knows his stuff. He's a real conservative.

Notice Trump has delivered many things George Will claimed to want over the decades but will vote for Biden to promises to put things back the way they were.
