Democrats and One Party Rule, or, Where would Conservatives fit in the modern USA?

When one looks at the political spectrum through history, the present Democratic party is pretty militarily and economically conservative.

No personal responsibility, freedom, bunch of criminals
Yea, depending on who you ask, it is definitely ideal
Liberal "utopia"
Basically everyone shackled to a bed, getting fed by the govt

We're talking about now. And being warmongers doesn't make you "conservative."

If you recall, LBJ escalated the Vietnam war which Kennedy, another Democrat started.

Because they were fighting the communists, which is funny that brainwashed right wing idiots like you call the democrats and Obama communists :cuckoo:

highlight what you and what you think obama does not support

"struggle for the unity of the working class, against all forms of national oppression, national chauvinism, discrimination and segregation, against all racist ideologies and practices… against all manifestations of male supremacy and discrimination against women ... against homophobia and all manifestations of discrimination against gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people ..."[51]

Among the points in the party's "Immediate Program" are a $12/hour minimum wage for all workers, national universal health care, and opposition to privatization of United States Social Security. Economic measures such as increased taxes on "the rich and corporations", "strong regulation" of the financial industry, "regulation and public ownership of utilities", and increased federal aid to cities and states; opposition to the Iraq War and other military interventions; opposition to free trade treaties such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); nuclear disarmament and a reduced military budget; various civil rights provisions; campaign finance reform including public financing of campaigns; and election law reform, including Instant Runoff Voting.[52]

So, would an America without a Conservative voice or Conservative representation be ideal?

There hasn't been a real conservative in US politics since Barry Goldwater died. The ignorant white trash calling themselves conservative today still think the bobbleheaded old B actor who tripled the national debt in peacetime was a conservative.

How funny is that?

Some are stupid enough to believe that a ratty little cocksucker from tejas who doubled the debt and invaded two sovereign nations was a conservative.

Another kneeslapper.

So, who are these conservatives you seem to feel are out there today?

bl, I know you had a chance to read this.

Did you skip it b/c you know its from Communist Party USA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ?

yeah, I bet you did

No, much of the problems we’re experiencing is as a result of a lack of a true and actual conservative voice.

What we hear from the right today is fiscal and social extremism, not conservatism.

During the 50s and 60s conservatives once played an important role, contributing a fiscal pragmatism to countervail liberal idealism.

By the 70s, unfortunately, that conservative voice was lost, replaced with Christian fundamentalism, social reactionaryism, and fiscal extremism, and our Nation has suffered accordingly.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ The point of communism is nationalizing ALL business and industry, not the tolerence and equality only Pub dupe/haters could be against.

Pubs are killing THEMSELVES off with all the BS lies and hate propaganda.

Democrats are not a One Party Rule ...

the One Party Rule, Rs have just not been keeping pace in the elections lately - relying on red states to keep them in office has not been working in the Senate.

If Barry Goldwater was running for President today, people like you would be calling him a Nazi.

One thing I'll agree with you on is that Bush was no conservative. He is a big government liberal.

In other words, a "true conservative" is a liberal, only not as stupid and irresponsible. Their job is to implement liberalism and clean up the disasters of the Democrats.

You'll have to excuse them for getting tired of licking your ass.

Our nation has suffered as the result of liberalism.

Yup, real conservatives are racists, bigots and tools of greedy idiot billionnaires. They cut taxes on the rich and screw over the nonrich, dupes especially lol.

That would be awful. Both parties would sink this ship if left unchecked.
The problem here, my friend, is that Democrats do not want any opposition. They will never be satisfied until they run the whole show, just like they do in every urban shithole across the US.
